u have to drag it with the toe of ur stick then pull it towards u then pretty much lift it up, once u get the speed and timing right the puck won't stay flat

Start the puck at the toe of the blade and don't pull straight back, if the puck was a clock, start the toe of the blade at 9 O'clock (if you are a righty, 3 if you're a lefty) and pull the puck back in a semi circle pattern rotating the stick around to 6 o'clock then pop it up, the spin helps it stick to your stick!!!

Its hard to explain but you have to put weight on the very edge of the puck so it flips up and at the same time you flick your wrists so your stick goes underneath the puck.

there is a huge difference between hockey talent and stickhandling / showing off talent. Look at robbie schremp. hes done nearly impossible things with the puck, but hes in the AHL because in real life he cant do what he does in practice. Chelios once said AHL/lower level players look the same as NHL players in warmups. if you didnt know better you couldn't tell them apart til the game starts. then it would be obvious. kovie obviously doesnt have the hockey mind of a gretz, lemieux, or yzerman.
