Sky captain and the world of tomorrow (or something close to this title, gotta google it) is a retro styled labor of love you might like. My only complaint was that dead fish Paltrow is in it, otherwise a fun cool movie.

Great special effects and love the concept, though I thought the narration seemed a bit forced at times, but then I am no one to throw stones. Much better than anything I could do.
