Wow, Rush is too perfect. They never miss a note live. I guess when you've been doing it for 30+ years, it helps alot. It might also have something to do with the fact that they're never drunk onstage. What a class act.
get the story right... his daughter got killed in a car accident FIRST... his wife passed away almost a year later... probably from a broken heart more so than the cancer... Neil and his wife were very close to their daughter. I wouldn't wish what happened to Neil on my worst enemy. It's tragic...
Actually, they all get out of there and head for the van that takes them either to the airport or hotel so they don't get caught in the traffic full of you "uofmrules" dumbasses.
Are you supposed to be cool with that comment? Neil has his own bus because he rides his motorcycle all over, and since this was the last show, I'm reasonably sure he and his wife, Carrie, are headed off somewhere to relax.
it doesn't matter when they died, it's the effect that matters, even if I did accidentally mix them up because I wasn't thinking, still they died and Neil thought it would be better to go on a 55,000 mile motorcycle "journey" in search of a better life over suicide..
what did you use to shoot this footage? it's really some great stuff. especially when compared to most of the snakes and arrows bootlegs thus far. if the sound was captured by a built-in mic on a camcorder i'd be awful anxious to try it out.
I just used the movie mode on a digital camera. The model is a Samsung L77. It's a very compact camera. The only drawback is the sound cuts out when you zoom in or out.
thank you for the info! i'm even more impressed by the quality- despite the sound cuts- being that it was shot with a camera not made specifically for video. if the time between start-up and first shot were not so long, i'd have a new camera to buy.
Out of the past 3 digital cameras I have owned, this has been the fastest to get to the 1st shot because there is no lens that has to extend from the camera. You just turn it on, the lens cover pops open and you're good to go!
16000 views to see them exit the stage. And I'm proud to be one of those.

Yeah, I know, but he got married again in 2000. Maybe you forgot that.

Watching as Neil gets the fuck off the stage and heads straight for his wife or something.

I'm surprised they didn't say "thank you" or "goodbye" in Finnish.
uofmrules1 4 years ago
Geddy said somewhere in the middle of the show that he only knows one Finnish word, and that is kiitos. (which means thank you)

I'm surprised he didn't use it.

Eihän tuo kestänyt kuin reilut 3 tuntia ;)
Joo-o saa olla aika kova keikka että vetää tästä paremmaksi :)
It lasted only over three hours ;)
Yep, it will have to be quite a gig to top over this :)
