@Zeronum2 It's practically arcade perfect. I find the difficulty of the 360 a tad bit harder. Perhaps that's due to not having dual joysticks. Perhaps that's due to latency in the display. Perhaps that's due to some minute difference in the software. It's tough to say. The other thing it's missing from the arcade (thankfully) is the rare memory corruption bug resulting from shooting enemies diagonally when they are positioned at the edge of the screen that resulted in crashing the machine.
I hate the damn tanks, i could make it alot farther if everytime the first tanks on lvl 7 or w/e i didnt lose like 2 lives EVERYTiME. Ive only made it to around lvl 13 but ive never really sat down and tried to get far, or played on a daily basis. So Im guessing youve gotten to wave 100?
Ya, it took me about a month of practice to get to 100. Even after that it took a lot of luck for me to break 100. I think I've only done it a couple times. I was the second to get the achievement.
@thebooonus You're saying it only took you 1 month of practice from scratch to get Wave 100? Unless you played it before on another console, then you're telling lies.
This game was the coolest ever. It got the adrenaline pumping and there was no end of increased difficulty as one advances to the next level. Gamers of today would truly appreciate this game.
Thanks for the reply, but actually it is level 62. Tank waves appear every five levels starting at level 7. So level 12, 17, 22, etc. are also tank waves. Of course, you could also tell it's level 62 by reading the level display at the bottom of the screen or noting the score. And to answer your original question, the shitty version of Robotron is listed in the description on the right... XBox 360.
if you realy wanna have a robotron that is 100% identical to the arcade, you must get the "Williams Arcade Greatest Hits" CD for PlayStation 1.
Theres Bubbles, Joust, Defender, Defender II, Robotron 2084 and Sinistar on it.
It realy kicks ass. You know CGR? they reviewed both, XBOX and PS1 and a whole lota more versions. The Atari 7800 and N64 versions suck in my opinion.
on the atrai, you dont have 2 joysticks, and the N64 attemps to convert the game kinda to 3D.
Is this game arcade perfect on 360?

@thebooonus Getting rid of game breaking bugs like that is a good thing though. Thanks for your info

Only way I can get to that level and beyond is with the cheats enabled on MAME. But that kinda takes the fun out of things.
