@lalacakez01 When did Pen Ron die? Do you know the date? She survived the Khmer Rouge, right? I think she lived in Thailand refugee camp in 1979-1980.

Yes, all the singers from the past sing better than we have now and they made the songs words and sentences very good. I never see anyone can make the songs very good like from the past.

i heard she wrote some of the songs she sang herself.

That's mainly because all the talent died along with Khmer Rouge.

If people like Sinn, Ron, Ros never died.

Imagine what today would have been like instead.

Today's people only know how to do one thing- copy from everyone else. :/

@lalacakez01 Touch Sunich also sings very great too. If you go to VOKK songs, you will hear her voice. She sings like from the people from the khmer republic (Before 1975). I like it a lot.

It is quite strange for me to listen Khmer oldies since i'm so young and my peers only listen to American music. Aha, i guess i stand out to be one of the few who choses to listen to Khmer music.
