  • i love the sound of your bass drum :O

  • Left Handed drummers unite!!!!!!! (We meet on thursdays under the Brooklyn Bridge)

  • sic semper tyrannis!

  • WKUK rock.

  • nice job, i'm sure the criticisms are meant to be constructive, but it sounded pretty good to me. it wasnt perfect but to get close on a song like that is impressive.

  • Sweet man! Hey, again, don't take that crap from others, i bet they cant play as good as you anyways! So check out my videos and leave a comment! Thanks!

  • dude, i really like your style, and ignore all the idiots that are talking about your cymbals, but i would like to tell from a nice perspective that you are a really good drummer, but you need to take the advice of danny carrey your self, and let the drums "breath" and don't tape them

up mate! but rock on, your really good

  • i agree. i love that philosophy... "let the drums breathe".

danny carrey knows what hes talkin about...

i mean cmon... he's part of tool

    xD

  • Thank you for that. I'm impressed. If possible, would you be able to do it again with more mics on the toms? On my computer I could barely hear the toms, and I wold really like to hear exactly what you're doing there. Thanks again, whether or not you have the time to do it again for some of us with lessor computer speakers. :)

  • nice drumming

    im left handed lol

    go left handers

  • Awesome job! =)

  • rock on bro, brave man!

  • nice job for a lefty still need that mandala.......and a little work.....

  • good work, ignore the idiots commenting on cymbal sound

  • i think he put muffles on his drum heads and tape on his cymbals for better sound quality. other wise maybe everything would be loud and distorted? that or his parents hate him playing. good job though, better than i can do. how long have you been playing?

  • im a left handed drummer to but, im right footed so i play open handed

  • doesn't that screw up your tom setup?

  • not as much as you would think, i tried it a couple of times, but i still like my left foot, so i play left-closed but i play double kick, so i can get on at school and play open, impress the hell outta people

  • get some mics on that kit!!! The hi-hat sounds really weak.

  • he has tape on all his cymbals, sounds like doo doo

  • only thing i can think of is true to use cymbal variation you were hitting one cymbal constantly and it kinda bugged me :P

  • finally a left handed handed drummer like me. great job. you just need to take those muffler things off if those are them.

  • ..yeah bro you kan play that song.. whats next ? ..kant w8

  • bEware of ur tempo!

  • like any of you faggots could play that.fuck that dude...awesome job

  • master your hands before your feet.

  • Pretty cool, think you might wanna loosen up your hi-hat a lil though, otherwise, good stuff

  • I think it's actually loose enough, he just needs to hit it at the right time to produce what an open hi-hat sound is supposed to sound like... This goes out basically to the first portion of the song.

You actually do a pretty good job at this. It's funny to watch it done left-handed, funny as in almost mindboggling to watch? Haha...crazy.

Anyway, all I'd say is just tighten up all the more (mainly in the bass drum hits) by further practice.

  • i think hes not getting that shiiiiiooop with his hats cause he has one of those silence pad things inbetween them

  • Im a lefty but I play openhanded, I just can't switch my kick. Try to get into it, robot child.

  • You are missing at least half the fills...but sweet beat anyone.

  • nice work... but why do you mute your toms... LET THEM SPEAK haha

  • Lolz, I know, right? wtf?! oh well, but i could never possibly switch the drums the way you did just so i could play in the standard technique of drums, I'm just not fit to do it, I just keep the whole set in right hand position but hit the hi-hat with my left hand w/o crossing arms, but i do cross them when hitting the ride cymbal, oh well, NICE JOB though!

  • nice work

  • Well done!

  • ahh yes ... such a fun song to play with :)

  • Sounded tight to me man. Well done

  • nice stuff bro

  • your bass head sounds loose man why not tighten it up, with a pearl masters, you still get the huge sound but so much more tighter. IM ALSO LEFT HANDED \m/ keep it rockin bro

  • As another left handed drummer, I must say you did a good cover of stinkfist, But i gotta ask, Why not turn your set around like a righty, that way you dont have to cross your hands to play the hats and snare at the same time, Then you can move a ride up above the hats and have all your toys right next to your left hand without any cumbersome arm crossing.

  • i am also left handed, and as it may be easier to get proper access to cymbals. when you doing some of the longer drum solos, you have to cross you're hands over as you will naturally hit with your left hand first which complicates things a little.

  • very nice, very very nice, keep posting bro

  • hey what brand is your set

  • Pearl Masters

  • Pretty good. But seems that at 3:22 you went of sync in a fraction of second. Nicely done. good work.

  • It was a glitch in the dub from DV to the hard drive. There's a couple of others near the very end too. I need a faster PC...

  • thank u for that now i can play the rythem at the beggining cos i couldnt figer it out XD but i could do the rest

  • man you really should let your drums and cymbals speak!!! they sound so resticted.. this can be fixed by propper tunning and no tape on cymbals!! let it sing man!!!

    -jayy-

  • I put tape on the cymbals and had sound-off pads on the drums for this video - this is so the song could be picked up by the canera mic at the same time.

  • loved it! clear playing and most followed cover i've seen yet. that bass sound is huge! or i just can't hear the hats much :/

tape on cymbals leads to cracking though, so be careful!

  • Yea boy

  • diggin that there is another lefty who plays tool in his world lol nice fucken playin dude

  • kick ass playing !

  • i gotta say..

clean get up and walk away from the kit right there at the end..

    thats what im talkin bout..

  • good playing man

  • Thank fuck!!! Another lefty drummer!!!

Woo!!! Theres so few of us out there dude.

    well played!

  • the camera makes your cymbals sound like tin, but i beleve that this is the most correct video of stinkfist that i've seen on youtube. really good job man. keep it up!

  • Good playing man! I don't know about the tape on the cymbals though. You need to let them breathe.

  • Bloody good effort, bro. Sounds great from what I could hear (muted drums + cymbals...sucks having neighbours, huh!).

    Great stuff mate!

    -John (NZ)

  • Very cool!!! Dude, you rock!!! TOOL RULES!!

  • Im 22 and can't play an instrument. Drumming is made to look so easy, its unbeleivable.

  • Your playing is awesome, but I just wish the sound came out better. I can't tell if it's your camera, the room or what but the your bass sounds somewhat dead like there's a pillow stuffed in there.

  • really good man

  • great job man! very good! your the only left-handed drummer who I've seen who can play Tool.I'm a drummer also, the only song I can play by Tool is 46 n 2,if you can play that could you put it up?
