you're really terrible at lubricating cubes... when you take apart your cube you don't use the straw you just spray all the cubies, and same when you just spray in the cube, just push the can up to the cube and spray
JB, that is WAY too much lube. You should take the tube off the spray can when you spray the cubies spread out, and give it an easy over once or twice.
I was wondering if you guys could review CRC Food Grade Silicone Spray and compare it to Heavy Duty CRC and Jig-A-Loo?
I think if it works good this would be a much better option than CRC Heavy Duty Silicone because you can spray it inside the house and it won't be harmful to you.
you lube it wayyy too much for the second method using crc. You should spray farther away and quick passes to leave a nice smooth thin layer not a huge white thick layer. waste of lubricant and gunk up your cube
I DON'T reccomend that you use the disassemble and sweep method with Jig A Loo because it will pool on your cubies. It's best to use the first method and work the Jig A Loo in
Not at first... If you didn't buy it assembled and lubed then use the syringe type first. If it sucks (which i don't think that it will, all of our blues have rocked out of the box) then you can use Jig A Loo to even it out
Jig A Loo will melt any plastic applied improperly, but I've never had it effect my tiles, because I've never allowed it to get on the outside of my cube. We don't recommend the disassemble and sweep method with Jig A Loo, although I'm sure some will disagree.
can you with that silicone do the jig-a-loo way? because i'm scared that when i put the cuby's out, i can not put it back... and uhhh if you put silicone in your cube... uhm bad for your cube?? because my english is not good!
yes you can do it that way. however if you do it will be much harder to work in as CRC wil temporarily make your cube VERY hard to turn. Also you have to spray a large amount to make sure you get the desired effect. Some say spraying CRC in the cube can hurt your spring and core setup but I've not yet experienced these effects. In the long run though you need to learn to take apart and put back together your cube, it's not hard.
i've never seen an M in an algorithm...what's it supposed to mean?

Jig A Loo will melt plastic if used improperly.

what do you recommend lubing a Dian Sheng with? I tried Jig a loo but if any gets on the outside of the cube it smears away the paint.

what is the improper way to use jig a loo? i used it on one of my old cubes and the plastic got all weird and had imprints on it.
chaddo3 2 years ago
never spray excessively, don't get on the outside of cubies if you can help it and absolutely NEVER let it pool around your cubies.
