I remember listening to this once while driving around on a chilly autumn morning, and immediately feeling warm and cozy again. Now I always think of chilly autumn mornings when I hear this song; despite the lyrics, it's a wonderfully comforting song.
Almost as good as Troubled Fields... or better? Love this album, used to have it on prerecorded cassete (fool!) trying to piece it together on Limewire but only two quality tracks downladed so far. Will enjoy the y'tube versions til then - thanks, y'all!

I found all of Nanci's albums on a torrent on Pirate Bay. Like you, most of my Nanci Griffith stuff was on cassette or vinyl.
