  • awesome playing!!

  • I like the distortion

  • i ♥ the MUSIC!!

  • I had the pleasure of meeting this man and watching him play this song and many other great songs.

  • agreed

  • Bucks a friggin gangster!

  • damn i ain't never heard guitar played like this never but damn have i ever enjoyed it i don't care for jazz im a blues fan but damn it all jazz sounded like this maybe i would listen to jazz a lot more absolutely breath taking and astonishing fo realz..

  • @nickbarcenas The thing might be that Bucky and Frank here are playing music that's more "hot guitar" - or "jump" or "swing style." Not bebop, that's for sure! If you like this, get Mickey Baker's "Complete Course in Jazz Guitar," Volume 1, and work through it. It teaches this style. Look for records of Eddie Lang. You'll freak out over Eddie. I agree - this sound is great. Boppers made it too complicated for my taste. We shoulda been born in 1920! (Find Charlie Christian, too.)

  • @nickbarcenas You should listen to WES, HE IS A BE BOP PLAYER, BUT HE IS DEEP IN THE BLUES! YOU WILL BE IN FOR A TREAT

  • Fine solo work, but geez, Louise, look at those chord changes Bucky is doing. Fabulous!!!! You can see where son John gets his chording style.

  • so distorted, cant listen

  • who is the guy with him? good.

  • @macoulin Frank Vignola!! Great Gipsy player

  • Fuck that! Put more distortion on that shit! Make it sound like heavy metal swing.

  • wonderful tune and player, shame about the distorted audio

  • lol his guitar sounds cartoonish

  • yeah

  • you should reupload these without the distortion

  • they just have their tone turned down real low, they dont have distortion dude. most jazz players do that.

  • An absolute pleasure!

  • It is a) wonderful to hear Bucky Pizzarelli b) wonderful to hear Bucky Pizzarelli play so well at 83 c) wonderful to know living legends still exist. He is one of the true nice guys in the music business and is always willing to help the youngsters. He gives back freely and that makes him special.
