  • As soon as George stopped snorting cocain, he started to die.

The cocain was preserving him, like some sort of cryo-genic state. His body was in a state of suspended coked up longevity.

As soon as he stopped doing hard drugs and drinking, he very quickly began to die.

There's a lesson in this folks.

And that is: Don't ever stop doing drugs.

    Or you'll die! lol

  • what is wrong with you people? have a sense of humor, if youre gonna argue about atheism, abortion, or the nra go to a chatroom where others care this guy is just supposed to make us laugh

  • You're wrong, atheism is the LACK of a belief in god.

  • You're wrong, thats agnosticism, atheism is the DENIAL of god.

  • No, retard, agnosticism is where you admit you don't know whether or not god exists.

It isn't as though i'm in denial as to god's existence - I simply don't believe he exists based on the evidence presented to me (or rather, lack thereof).

  • yea ur wrong atheism isnt lack, its denial retard

  • Consider this statement:

    "All babies are born atheist"

Does this mean that all babies are born denying god?

No, this means that all babies are born without the belief itself.

    Are you getting it now?

I'm not in denial, I just don't have the belief that theists do.

  • Are you fuckin' retarded.

  • we all miss him.

  • Well said. You are absolutely right. God bless.

  • If you really sit down and think about what you just said, you'll realize that you just lumped a hell of a lot of people in one category. Think about it... technically if you like racing cars or just driving and you like tinkering with the engine and the transmission and making it the best looking and running car you can its the same type of hobby as shooting and repairing guns.

You cant use the excuse of cars dont kill people, because they kill more people a year then guns.

  • what? so you're saying that my hobby makes me a bad person? your argument doesn't make any sense at all. nobody owns guns to "feel tougher". have you ever shot a gun? held one, even? what's YOUR hobby?

  • NRA is too willing to compromise on gun rights.

Gun Owners of America and Jews For the Preservation of Firearms ownership are much more principled and willing to fight.

  • Gun Owners of America is a liberal organization founded by well know liberal activists who are by all accounts anti gun. Do your homework and know who you are supporting. I do not believe you have any intention of supporting the second ammendment. This is a bogus post with the goal of turning ignorant pro gunners to an anti gun organization.

  • "Gun Owners of America is a liberal organization founded by well know liberal activists who are by all accounts anti gun."

Well-known? Who are they? Support your assertion. Do YOUR homework.

  • You are right. I did horribly on my homework! I was refering to the Union Sportsmen's Alliance. I will not go off "half cocked" next time. Thank you for your diligence and I will improve mine!

  • whaaaat? you sure you're thinking of the right organization? go take a look at the GOAs website...they're way more pro-gun than the NRA is.

  • I am eating crow! You are right! I was thinking of the Union Sportsman Alliance! The Gunowners of America is a great organization. I mixed them up.

  • No worries. Classy response!

  • Shameful reality... excuse me... but some of us own guns for the hobby and sport of shooting... not only that but repairing them. They aren't just for killing and violence

  • But still (until Skynet comes online) guns do not kill people, people kill people.

Unarmed violent idiot is much more likely to kill than legal gun owner.

  • Fine. You may own them in certain areas, but I can see no reasonable, constructive purpose to owning a tank. You may not fire them, or have working machine guns in tanks. So, you can really only have them for show.

But I apologize for calling you out. This is Carlin. I shouldnt be arguing this during his sermon.

  • chuck steak lol

  • you don't have to pay ANY taxes, actually. ;)

  • 2nd ammendment: the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Okay, but how far does that go? Can I own a tank?

No. Its all up to the interpretation of the Supreme Court, which can be debated by people because its subjective and not explicitly said by the constitution.

That right there is a constructive, well informed sentence. Choke on that, ya liberal-hating motherfucker.

And stay off Carlin while your at it.

  • 2nd ammendment.

    'nuff said.

  • hahahaha CHUCK STEAK

  • its not about being liberal or not. its just about common sence

  • bang bang!

  • When did he say you can't have hobbies?

  • wait i dont get "they first 2 times a year" i dont do that but you dont polish a gun you oil it, its not a shoe...and im sure there is no gun nut that oils there gun everyday cuase you wouldent even be able to hold it w/o oil all over your hands..only time some1 oils it is if they were hunting and water(rain) got on it...silly libs

  • your not helping your cause by making religous remarks in a political argument. Im sure you dont like Islamic Extremists. Don't become what you are struggling against otherwise you will never win and instead you only add doubt to your argument. Did George Carlin ever Physicaly attack someone....no. He didn't. How can you justify attacking anybody physically. Wait thats right....your probably going to say, "an eye for an eye". Remember that "An eye for an Eye makes thewhole world blind"

  • Um. Everyone dies. You're an idiot.

  • george is right on, I hunt and i have a nice arsenal of weapons but yeah...there are those people who get a little bit too much of a hard on for their guns.

  • Ha ha... the gun-toting, bible-thumping, cousin-humping red-necks are pissed cause they know it's true. Hahahahahaha.

  • Butthurt obvious troll is butthurt and obvious.

  • He wasn't actually for gun control...he just found lobbyists repulsive. Wayne LaPierre happens to be a very intelligent man, and the NRA has video on here of a great debate between him and some mindless terrible woman from the UN.

  • i love shootin guns and i dont find this offensive its just a joke lighten up

  • hahahaha chuck steak

  • Bang baaaang!

  • if you don't like george carlin, what the hell are you doing watching his stuff & posting shitty comments?

    carlin rules!

  • wow.your tough. hide behind a gun... and a computer

  • no u.

  • wow your cool. everyone thinks your really radical for not liking george carlin you fucking scumbag.

  • What a little fascist.

  • No, but I am pretty sure comedians tell their audiences how they feel and make jokes about it. Unfortunately, many of his "jokes" hit below the belt.

  • Hey clueless He is dead on accurate

  • That doesn't mean I should completely ignore what I've heard from him.

Stop calling me narrow-minded. It isn't a good argument.

  • Well stop acting it

  • if you hate him why waste your time posting...to truly hate someone is to not even aknowledge their existance...or we can go freuds way and say everything we hate and fear in our lives is actally our subconscious telling us the things that we love hahaha

  • i see...u are acting like a kid...talking like that and u felt offended

  • You sound like another dumb ass, ignorant, out of touch with life prick.

    Shut the FUCK up!

  • man i love george carlin this is so fuckin true fuckin redneck nra.

  • I'm not a redneck, and I plan on joining the NRA.

    You're a fuckin idiot.

  • what hes dead? he was here a minute ago

  • "Those who beat swords into plowshares usually end up plowing for those who don't."

  • Chuck Steak: Is there any manlier name than that?

  • I dunno, Sue Webster is pretty tough to beat.

  • I thought he said Biff Webster?

  • Decklan McMannus is more manly

    or Gaston,

  • I think you're right.

  • I'm with George. I don't mind you lot carryng guns, as long as you stick to shooting each other.

  • check me channel out.

Do you think I carry a gun?

  • bang bang! LMFAO

  • Chuck Steak :-D

  • Gun controls for is for slaves, are you.

  • "People who have a realistic view of the world know that evil exists" - I think this gets to the heart of the REAL problem, which is the culture of fear. This is why everybody feels like they NEED to own a gun. But gun ownership is not the problem - it's gun reliance. That's more of a cultural issue, but too many people feel that the gun is the first option, and not the last.

  • Biff Webster...I like that name! I should change my name to "Biff Webster".

  • you're definately wrong about one thing:

"the best defense against a gun is another gun"?

no. the best defence is living in a gunless society (where even the criminals don't have access to guns) - where only the police carry arms. of course, i know such society doesn't exit, but, there are countries that are pretty damn close to being just that.

look, i think i understand - in america, its too late now; too many people own guns. thats the problem to begin with. its such a bad cycle...

  • If the government agents are the only people with guns, than you will have no defence against a government run coup. Having a well armed society also keeps the government from oppressing its people. I think that this conversation should be moved to a more appropriate video, however, seeing as George Carlin is a comedian and obviously wasn't being serious, so a serious discussion about this issue isnt appropriate here.

  • Chuck Stake ftw!

  • i dont live in BIOT. i just put that cuz i dont really take these online personal infos seriously.

what i meant was, i would have perhaps grown up to consider owning a gun, had i been brought up in the US: different culture/mentality.

i guess this issue is really bugging you...

look, go ahead, play your "family man" card if u think it helps u back up your beliefs.

but me, personally, would never want my kids to grow up thinking "daddy carrying around a gun" is a normal, healthy thing.

  • chances are, if your at home watching some crappy sitcom with your family and some group of idiots bust down your door with semi-automatics - your not going to get very far. A gun is useless for home defense unless you see the threat coming a mile away or unless you just hold it in your hand at all times. The best defense is making it harder for the bad guy to get in. He will just find an easier mark then. Of course, chances are, the bad guy is someone your related to or friends with.

  • dont agree what he says, but man hes funny

  • look man, if i DID live in america, then maybe, just MAYBE i would consider owning a gun. because shit, everyone knows america isn't that safe of a country.

but i dont. i live in one of the safest countries on the planet. so i will never know what goes on inside your head. the worries, the love for guns, having to live a para-military lifestyle...

i hope 1 day you can rid yourself of all that shit, and just live your life without fear. maybe thats impossible in america i guess.

  • I know nothing about US Politics, but I hear that both Hilary or Obama will ban guns, so who are you gonna vote for?

  • Well worded mate! If only the people down here in Australia had the same train of thought as yourself!

  • You show California that there are still some gun supporters there!

  • Bla Bla Bla. Not funny at all.

  • We have a Dane Cook fan in the house!

  • Step on his head before he breeds!

  • what a prick

  • Silly? You certainly are. Cars and guns are not comparable, advocating gun ownership by saying cars also kill people is indeed very silly.

But you are right about the people with bad intentions part... well partially. If someone wants to harm someone else, having a gun makes it so much easier. You can dodge a car, but not a bullet.

  • america is ruled by england

  • "Tyrants from Hitler to Mao to Stalin have sought to disarm their own citizens, for the simple reason that unarmed people are easier to control. Our Founders, having just expelled the British army, knew that the right to bear arms serves as the guardian of every other right. This is the principle so often ignored by both sides in the gun control debate. Only armed citizens can resist tyrannical government."

    -- Congressman Ron Paul, June 27, 2006

  • maybe you should think of the fact that guns dont kill people... people kill people... theyve been doing it for centuries, long before firearms were even thought of... so dont blame firearms as the problem...

  • I don´t need to know how the hell they work. You can kill with those things, and that is the point to be against guns and gun lovers.

  • Oh yeah...the NRA and all of those dereanged militia people are really doing a lot to protect the constitution from being ripped apart buy the american govenrment. Good job guys!

  • Anyone that has actually looked into the NRA knows it is full of every type of person in society from CEO's to toothless hillbillys. And the NRA is in the millions and growing. Without the NRA and the NRA-ILA (Legal branch) the 2nd Amendment would have already been erased. And for those that think the NRA is run by "right wing" you are again greatly mistaken. There are many liberal gun owners that belive in the Constitution.

  • i guess you've never lived in a gun-less, non-violent country before. so you will never know the feeling of not having to worry about carrying around guns.

see, in some societies, we don't need "guns for protection" and all that garbage. no need for "the right to bear arms" or any other form of barbaric, primitive nonsense like that.

but no, americans will never stop feeling fear, and will never rid themselves of their cowboy mentality, so your nation will always engage in wars.

  • What happens when some lunatic enters your house and you don't have anything to defend yourself with? I guess if you feel like you shouldn't need guns then you deserve for that to happen to you.

  • no, i don't deserve to die, but shit, i would much rather have my own life taken than to take someone else's life. i couldn't live with the thought of killing someone.

besides, i don't live my life worrying about having a lunatic walking into my house. if shit happens, i'll worry about it then.

  • Natural selection should have taken it's course on you a LONG time ago.

  • bang bang!!

  • Well wether he knew it or anyone else for that matter the NRA is the sole reason the rediculous Brady Bill was banished and also responsble for giving back the honest citizens their guns after Hurricane Catrina. No one will ever get my gun ever. I don't care what the law says. I will not commit crimes with these guns but if guns become illegal then I will become a criminal because the Government will only get them over my DEAD BODY!

  • When the NRA first started, it was a great association. Now, it's just a money-making business owned by right-wing America. I read a book on it a few years back...I can't remember the name of it, but it was pretty good.

I'm a gun owner and I enjoy plinking and have no problem with gun control. I will never give up my firearm, but I seriously don't think we would ever have a problem with that and could handle it without the NRA.

  • I'm happy to see you can at least use funny and insulting word combos (crusty old cunt)...there's hope for you. He didn't give a shit about policies anyway, only wanted to point out to the rest of us who THINK that we have to watch out for stupid people, bullshit, and the crazies like yurself! Cheers! By the way..."Hell is other people!" See you in fucking church, dipshit! ahahahhahahahahhaaaa!

  • LOL. Well at least you can be funny.

  • What you people don't know is that 99% of people who LEGALLY buy guns know how to shoot and handle them. New Yorkers just hate guns because they are not allowed to have them. The politicians that run that city are too stupid to realize that crime is lower in states that have concealed weapons permits. I don't care b/c I will never go to your city!

  • Go ahead and own your fucking gun....you're much more likely to be killed by one and then hopefully ther'll be less gun toting dickheads around.

People are too stupid to own guns anyway.

  • Jesus? who the fuck is that? Fuck him in the ass with a big rubber dick!

  • I love it. I especially love your fucked up name. "Champion of Liberty!" what a crock of shit. So easy to piss of any of these extremists, from dumbass dickless conservative fucks to "politically correct" campus liberal dickheads...THEY ARE THE SAME. Cheers! Here's some spooge in your eye! Thppt!

  • I did not he was against the NRA. I am glad the old bastard is dead! RIP I mean RIH (rest in hell). I am not offended mistaphill but if your agaisnt the NRA you are my bitter enemy and I will not piss on you if you were on fire!!!

  • Another dickless lunatic of the NRA....no thinking..."You're against the NRA?! You are my bitter enema!" Such a sensitive conservative...again. Cheers, asshole! I hope your kids die in a car fire! :)

  • I love how dumb gun toting, bible thumping conservatives get so offended by everything. Just plug up your eyes and ears and you'll be fine.

  • You'd have to plug up their assholes too because that's what they use to speak.

  • go listen to george carlin handles a heckler id say it to you myself but better off hearing it from him. RIP

  • george carlin is king they should show his videos for high school education we would be better off.

  • Jesus was a fag.....

  • Bang banggggg in that ass...lol

  • if u people are insulted by george then dont listen to george. if you like george then listen to george. dont be a fag, come to a funny video and just tal about how u didnt like it. its suppoed to be FUNNY. dont ruin other peoples experience cuz u wanna be an asshole. just keep it to urself jesus. and KIDGLOCK2 - your a joke. go fuck ur mother.

  • Bang baaaaang!

  • I am for the second amendment and happy about the supreme court ruling the other day. but with that said carlin is a comedian he makes jokes. the wayne l'four as president of the NRA is funny because it is a gay sounding name. Take a joke people.

  • He is the Greatest comedian to ever live. As for people like KIDGLOCK2 and guyNbluejeans, well, they can go find the closest razorblade and do us all a favor. Fuck you KIDGLOCK2. And Fuck You, guyNbluejeans, racist asshole.

  • I shall say this again...

Carlin loved the shock of reality. Carlin would not stand for dishonesty. Hmmmm... hated deception, had a passion for being honest. Yep, I'm sure God puts people like that in hell... you fuckin' goofballs...

He embodied the ideas of freedom, liberty, equality, and justice. While not quite as heroic as... say... Paul Robeson... he is still one of the sharpest minds of the past 50 years. A hero gone.

    Unite and win.

  • SteyrAUG wore out his boy-toy, HemiCuda. But then a little boy called JustinWB comes along and little Justin has a brand-new O-ring!

SteyrAUG is a happy bisexual man again.

  • Chuck Steak, haha. RIP.

  • well he is dead...i love carlin but he was so full of shit!

  • you dumbass piece of shit

  • Relax, some of them users aren't the sharpest ones you can find.

  • We all know there's no connection between owning a gun and shooting someone with it....wait...

  • I like Carlin, but I don't agree with his anti second amendment bullshit ramblings.

  • I've always went by the simple idea that as long as your gun isn't pointed at a living creature (other than that masked man in your window) it's just fine. Don't give me that hunting bullshit folks. If you want a trophy, go to a shop and buy yourself one. If you're hungry and shooting a deer is the only way you're going to eat that night, fine. But these pricks who stuff their faces at the Shoney's breakfast bar at 4:30 in the morning and then head out to "Blast us a turkeh!"... Have gotta go.

  • it's spelled "dumber" not "dummer", you idiot.

  • I see my point went soaring directly over your head. Let me explain. I am "dummer" for having watched this...THUS, the spelling of the word is incorrect. Get it? Go hug a tree.

    Shane

  • I absolutely love George Carlin, but this is the single issue I disagree with him about, and feel that he has no idea what he is talking about.

  • I didn't even smirk. That was... not funny.

  • I'm so fuckin' glad i don't live in the US, cause the NRA is famous even in EUROPE and man that shit just sounds stupid, insane and american. What rights are you talking about about? Are you afraid of a british invasion? Are you going to fight the US Army? Or you just like to have fucked up kids shooting other kids in college? Really, i'm sorry but most of us just don't get it... this gun fetish. And no, i don't think i'm sofisticated cause i'm european, so don't give that weak shit.

  • The concept is to preserve the natural rights of the individual.

The SIMPLE fact is that people have needed weapons for thousands of years, and many of us find it a bit idealistic that we no longer have to protect ourselves or our property because someone ELSE is going to be there to do it for us.

I have seen nothing in the history of mankind or government that illustrates either is inherently just or fair; an ablity to resist is necessary and needs to be preserved.

    OK?

  • That's fine with me...I already heard that one. I just think that's really unrealistic...That protecting property think, i mean. Come on. Like al quaeda is going to start invading farms. Doesn't it scary you that anyone can get a gun? Even people with mental illness?

  • Al Queda? British Invasion?...The concept holds more along the lines of acknowledging the fact and the simple principle that a certain percentage of any population are bad apples, and good people must at least be able to protect what they hold dear.

"Doesn't it scary you that anyone can get a gun? Even people with mental illness?"

Certain responsibilities and liberties necessitate the acceptence of some unfortunate consequences.

What exactly, is your problem with the concept?

  • Well, i live in Portugal, so i really don't have a big problem with that. But i care about people, cause i have family in california. It's not that you can't own a gun in Portugal, but to have acess to one is just not as easy as it is there, just as in the majority of europe. Less people have guns, less "bad apples" have guns. Of course some people still get them illegaly. I just think it's excessive in the US, that is an old concept, times changed. I think people overthere just like guns...

  • Culturally, America and Europe are somewhat different; they always have been. I am sure I could find plenty of things about Portugal that I find personally disagreeable, but the fact is that we see just things different. For one thing, you had government disarm you while creating a socialist state, which sounds very unappealing to many in this country.

  • I don't disagree that there are differences between America and Europe, and i'm not saying that Europe is morally better. And would surely find rotten stuff in Portugal, cause it's not a good place to work and earn money, in america an architect like myself would be way better in life, but it's peacefull. About the socialist state, are you talking of things like universal healthcare and stuff like that? i didn't understand...could you explain?

  • America is peaceful. There are 5000 homicides in a country of 300+ million, most of which occur in inner city ghettos and are perpetrated by ethnic minorities; unfortunate, but not the concern of the entire country. That doesn't mean the rest of us don't deserve the ability and the right to protect ourselves.

  • "the right to protect ourselves"...that's the logic that confuses me. What do you mean? Do people really expect to be attacked at any time? Is it really necessary for everybody to have a gun? I can't imagine that here, and europe had a lot of wars, it's not like are not familiar with guns. I just don't understand how it could have been so easy for the columbine kids to get that kind of arsenal, and people still think its an ok sacrifice for a right to be able to shoot stuff one day eventualy.

  • Sometimes it is necessary to have a weapon. The severity and the very possibility of that situation provides for the legitimacy of the need to have the ability to possess one.
