I think in time, when this video of them goes through the ages, even when the others have many amazing moments, theres something about this video, or her on TV with Mom, that shows something that I love more than anything...Its like she knows she must use her Mom's training and be as beautiful and perfect in form in those most risky of moments...a final note,sustained,no clips,not graced, not a flat,unvibratoed shriek & w/ Mom's critical ear inches away,sung utterly perfectly,beyond measure !

...indeed, with her mom, singing in classical voice... for Heaven's sake, HANDEL, though I would have loved to see Mariah do a little more of a standard delivery in places, her stage presence and respect for her duetest, and Mom, and her style shows, when it comes time to match notes at certain points, albeit in another register and octave or two octaves above...so they are , in those moments, tonally matched, though perhaps separated by octaves. The last phrase, as her Mom finishes,is flawless

...she sings with classical artists, I hear where and when ,in her voice, she uses what is her comfort zone of R&B/Pop vocals, but a bit more in keeping to the production, but when she uses her one of a kind whistle register, she reverts to her classical training... and doesnt use it as sound,nor usually a harmonic, but as a flawless, sustained, supported crescendo effect or finale tone, without the grace,swooping,improvisational staccato that she might use in her pop songs. ...and as t my opinion...when I hear about her voice going or about having twins, and her voice being tired, or the stupidsity of discussing hr "high notes" ...maybe you should think of this...something you may not have noticed...ever... When Mariah, a a consumate professional Stage Performer, works with a duetist, she sings with them, and never outsings them, even when she can. Sometimes a downfall to the finished duet, but to her credit, she has no issue of ego.WHAT i loveabout her, is when...
