No. The next weekend at Chicago, he injured himself in a crash. He missed a few races. He would return to race some more. However, after the Chevrolet Monte Carlo 400 at Richmond, RCR fired him.

In this Race it shows almost if not all of the drivers actual number shapes and ever since they have not shown it like this race if you look close.

@AutoRockinRacing94 I actually think the actual number shapes may have still be there at Chicago and maybe even through New Hampshire or Pocono, I know by Bristol in August it was gone though.

@jrpace05 I know, they should of have kept it, but what's funky about the Chicagoland race is the NBC NASCAR logo, check Mike Skinner's wreck. But the alternative number shape until the 2004 Daytona 500 was good. But the 2004-2006 one just is embarassing, especially FOX's 2006 ticker.
