Great job man. I was wondering if you went up with professional guides or just went up with a trusted team, and also how you came to climb Everest with the people you did? Thanks :)
This makes me so happy to see another person on everest. I want to do it but im pretty young. I was wondering what kind of traning should i do to prepare myself? Im pretty young rite now but i would love to try to summit everest when i get older.
I'm surprised to see people crossing the Kumbu during the day time when it is most active. I've done a little climbing but Ive never climbed outside North America.
im 12 and its still a dream to summit everest i made it to abc 2 camps before summit my dad got HAPE and had to come down in a gamow bag he died 7 days later im looking for a cheap expo
Hey buddy- all depends.. some people go above $100k, others can do it for as little as $15k. Sponsorships, deals, discounts, etc.. it's a pretty wide scale.
Wow where to start.. Tons and tons of cardio, heavy research on the correct equipment, and get some solid mountains under your belt- especially to know how you will respond to high altitudes.
Can they expertize your resistance to high altitude at hospital, or can you only know how your body'll respond when you are there already because of some random ?
Best way is to spend time at higher altitudes to see how your body will react. It can still be pretty random though, so train hard and take care of yourself! :)
@mustangcharlie76 If your still looking for advice on climbing Everest I would suggest climbing Denali first. It i no where near as high but it will allow you to experience very cold weather and Denali is far more technically demanding then Everest. Denali is a good stepping stone. To see how altitude affects you try a lower altitude 8000er like Cho oyu, it is technically an easy climb very little danger but it is the 6th highest and gets you up there. Also very cheap compared to everest.
Well done guys, full respect for you doing an extremely dangerous adventure. 5 STARS, im guessing the view was amazing, how long were you allowed to stay at the summit. VERY INSPIRING
hey man cheers for the information, any how, i have a few questions, im 15 okay but i love walking and climbing ive been up some large welsh mountaisn and soon crib goch go check that out,
Good luck in your quest, don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do something. It took ~2 months from Kathmandu-summit-Kathmandu, but ~3 days up on final push. Been climbing since I was 11, so it's been a lifelong dream. The sight from the top was incredible.. you can see forever. I'd definitely go again.
Viva Guatemala!! Congratulations to Francisco Arredondo, Doug, Willie and Tendi. Awesome video and pictures. The music makes me think that this task is a piece of cake and is NOT. Is the most dangeorus mountain in the World. Many dead bodies still there.
awesome, I noticed there was no traffic?
