It's because he sings music that isn't ''in" he's not a pop or a hip hop or an R&B singer. So people don't reallly listen.

I could listen to Matt Nathanson till the day i die! He is amazing! All of his songs have a meaning and they are so pretty! I love him to death! I HAVE to go to one of his concerts :D
