@VMdoh I finished 12th out of 25 or 26. The unloading every time I had to move with a slung rifle killed me. I did manage my best finish on the long range rifle stage where I was driving for what seemed like forever. I was 7th on that one. Thanks for asking!

What really makes me like this you can shoot 3 gun with a gimp leg faster than most people would be able to with both legs. Nice shooting and awesome setup on your guns.

@Holdenv16148 Thanks! The long drive on the scooter was a definate advantage for me. I was calm cool and collected and everyone else had to run 50 yards. LOL! If I wouldn't have been trying to go so fast on my shotgun shooting to make up for my lack of mobility I could have finished 3-5 places higher.

Good guns and gear that are reliable are crucial in this game. Fixing malfunctions slows you down and gets in your mindset.

Dude, that's cool! I made a new friend at HAVA last year and got him to try IDPA back home in Connecticut. He lost both his legs at the knees in Afghanistan. I hooked him up with the Match Director for his area. On his first outing, he came in mid-field overall, from a wheelchair! Where there's a will, there's a way!!!

I just switched to a Swarovski Z6i 1-6x scope. It is pretty sweet! My only complaint is that it could use some real turret style knobs. I used to run a TR24-3G which was excellent. I switched mostly because I'm a -5.25 on my glasses prescription. I figured the extra magnification could help make up for poor vision and lack of practice and it DOES!

I am gonna change out the JP comp for a Rolling Thunder soon. I had bought a thunder and realized that it's .750 diameter didn't match my barrel diameter which looked funny sold sold it. The sights still bounce a little with the reduced weight from the PRI tube so I'm gonna go back to the thunder for more recoil reduction despite the goofy look.

Aaron, I am currently shooting a JP CTR-02 with a stock JP/Cooley comp. The only changes I've made to the gun are a low profile JP gas block so I could add a 15" PRI carbon fiber handguard and an ERGO deluxe grip. I'm also running a tac latch charging handle and testing a Noveske K9 barricade support.
