I really don't have such a word to express my felling about this very heart touching Indian movie . The drama is excellent. the love story of this movie touch every lover heart and stay for ever in the mind and in the heart of every one who once seen this movie.. The songs fabulous and the acting of Madhubala, Dilip Kumar, Partavi Raj and every other actor and actress in this immortal movie are uncountable.

This is incomplete song. This has only one paragraph. In the movie, when I first saw the movie, it had two paragraphs Lyrics of the whole song are excellent Thanks to Shakeel Badayuni. But it would not be appropriate, not to mention,. that Naushad Sahib has done most beautiful job in composing this song. It is remarkable beyond words.The whole set, right from the start of the song, is extravagant and one keeps on looking in amazement.

Please do not call it a Hindi song. Look at the mirror, Hindus were not Muslims.If Hindus have started accepting' Khuda' then it would have been perfectly all right. It is Urdu, Aasif did not mean it to be a Hindi song, neither Jawahal Nehru would have. Indians have been always trying to hijack Urdu. Hindi is not Urdu. This is not a cultural war. Let us live together otherwise we we will fight for another 1000 years. I am dropping my sword, are Hindus & Sikhs ready?

@19n9ove you may be interested to know that linguistically speaking, "hindi" and "urdu" aren't very different. BOth were originally "Hindustani". the movement to separate them came much later. the main difference between the sister languages is the script and source of vocab. Urdu borrows heavily from Persian where as what is called "Hindi" nowadays has many Sanskrit words.
