  • 1,2,3 JAM MASTER JAY... WHO CAN FUCK WITH THIS

  • J. A .Y. are the letters of his name... R.I.P. Homie

  • best rap group ever

  • beginning of tha scratch so fresh meean

  • @hotepk 'cause people just follow what ever the hell everyone else is doing, especially white people because their culture is built off of the melting pot of America (which is now dominantly black cultural influence)

  • Those sucker mc's of today can't compete with this.

  • RIPJMJ

  • i am the creator of the "HipHopApostles" group on facebook and would like to share the real hip hop with the people who give respect to it

  • One word

    :Stanners:

    Stoke on Trent

  • Run dmc is the best anyone can know the words to this song

  • All white boys, without exception had nothing but hate and derision for the pure back when hip hop was fresh...now that its popular worldwide crackers have jumped on the bandwagon...in the early 80's we had to fight constantly dealing w/ the attacks from the caucasoid...now you say u love rap...I'm not convinced...if you've evolved then you'd support reparations and health care otherwise you're just the undated version of the same old white devil

  • Hold up with that bullshit, You cant make sweeping judgements like that, wheres your proof of this, I cant speak for peeps in the US as im from the UK. Its white folks from the UK that supported Black Soul artists from the US while most peeps including many African Americans turned their backs on them. As for Hip Hop, in the UK we (Blacks and whites) where down with it from about 1982 when it first crossed the pond. The devil is your government not white people, theres racists in all colours.

  • @gizcool This is TRUE (and I'm Black!) Whites overseas love and appreciate Soul and Hip Hop MORE than these deadbeats in the USA. Real talk, Hip Hop went directly from NYC to England and was Loved BEFORE most the US was even aware of it, it has West Indie Roots and England has a Large West Indian population.

  • @Docmananoff You are a liar-either that or another stupid ass cracker-loving Uncle Tom

  • @hotepk Look here Fool... I've been involved with Hip Hop almost since it's inception ('start' for the illiterate) you go and watch a few more documentaries and try to learn about the culture I LIVED! Know what youre saying before you open your dumb ass mouth youngster!

  • @Docmananoff Almost since its inception LOL- you're a johnny-come-lately clown

jumping on the bandwagon built and supported by the 'real'...talking shit online is for sissy-soft sucker bitch type cowards who would never have the balls to step to me face to face w/ their jib jab so step fool-u ain't down and never will be

  • @hotepk "talking shit online is for sissy-soft sucker bitch type cowards who would never have the balls to step to me face to face w/ their jib jab "

    I see that...

Anyway (lol) now you were in NYC huh? If you were, you would know better. Hey Genius: Mr. Freeze, Zephyr, Futura 2000, Cap, Tracy 168, IZ the Wiz... Look up the names of those HIP HOP Pioneers and then slap the shit out of yourself!

  • @Docmananoff And I was in Manhattan all of 1980...my roomdog at Governors IS was from Bronx and I painted the town every nite before I had to get serious w/ my studies...better recoginze before u stick that neck out fool-cus its liable to get chopped off

  • @gizcool That's bullshit. You think the people over seas have anymore appreciation for the way an 808 kicks you in the chest or the way a beat juggle makes you scream ah shit. You are wrong sir. That is all pretty universal.

  • I never said that, I was responding to some guy talking bullshit about whites, the fact is though when it came to Afrrican American Soul artists in the 60s and early 70s that it was working class white folk from the UK that bought and appreciated their music while in the US they didnt get the respect and support they deserved. All I said about Hip Hop was it got picked up in the UK in the early 80s and kids of all colour dug it, I didnt say American kids didnt dig Hip Hop or the 808.

  • Respond to this video... I can and will all day cracker...don't ever tell what do do...you're full of shit...did the native Americans go to England steal their land, murder rape and enslave them? Did Africans or Chinese or Koreans? No the ly group evil and diabolical enough to spread death and disease worldwide is the RACIST naturally xenophobic, recessive-gened, spiritually crippled, bi-sexuall, murderous, mendacious caucasoid...hate has nothing to to with it-I'm simply stating truth

  • @hotepk more bullshit retoric, you wouldnt know truth if it banged you up your ass, just because some rich elite white muthafuckas did terrible things dosent mean the whole white race did, fuck sake didnt the egyptians have slaves ffs all races have evil muthafuckas whether it white european, black african or chinese etc dosent make everyone else racist, your a fucking racist with your bullshit hateful outbursts, fuck off you narrow minded twat and grow up.

  • @hotepk

Son... WTF you babbling about yo?! I'm Boricua FROM DA BRONX IN '78 when Hip Hop was being BORN & white cats were the most dominate force in Graf writing & AS WE ALL KNOW, Graf is 1 of the 4 pillars of Hip hop. Brothas invented mc'ing , were the most influential dj's & Boricuas were the official BBoys but White street cats had a MAJOR influence on the culture. The fact you don't know or understand that means u ain't know our culture & u AIN'T Hip Hop. Get Da Fuck OUTTA HERE STANLEY!

  • @footyguy01 All I got was static and grief from whites back then...I don't understand why some brothers are so quick to defend those who have shown us the back of their hand...if whites are so down then why they make such a fuss about universal health care and reparations...or maybe u believe our problems are all a result of our our own stupidity and laziness?

  • @hotepk

Stop saying "whites" you fucking idiot.

A bunch of rednecks down South not in support of healthcare doesn't represent the whole white population. And what the fuck does that have do do with hip hop, anyways?

Hip hop shouldn't be a racial thing at all. If it weren't for the Beastie Boys, it would have been a lot harder for groups like RUN/DMC to be accepted into places where there was still resistance to hip hop.

  • @RaptureJamz If I met u face to face I bet u wouldn't have the balls to talk to me like that face to face, so don't call me names because I'm not an idiot...now giving the Beastie Boys credit for opening doors for hip-hop is something only a fucking idiot could say...whites, crackers, caucasoidal creatures, paleface-its all the same zenophobic, spiritually crippled, recessive gened pale pestilence that's been the bane of the world's indigenous ever since the soulless demons were created

  • @hotepk

Also, it always surprises me how you can go to pretty much any random video on youtube and see that some stupid fuck like yourself has turned it into a racial debate.

    Go fuck off.

  • @footyguy01 That's what I'm sayin kid! Fuck this fruitcake! My pops is from Gun Hill and I was out in the BX back in those days too! At least WE know...lol

  • @Docmananoff

Haha yeah, bro. This kid doesn't know shit about shit. There's idiots everywhere, but sometimes I'm just surprised at how BIG of idiots people can be!

  • Comment removed

  • U can't fade that beat! JMJ killed it!

    RIP :(

  • lol, this is old school

  • Run DMC and Jay, brought many innovations to hip-hop. They gave to the then new culture that most critics said would fade away (Haha), meaning to the rhetorical rhyming stlyes that defined rap before Run DMC entered the hip hop scene. Run DMC's lyrics were loaded with positivity and teaching moments for us kids at that time. Jam Master Jay set the standard for music, "back grounds", scratch&Cutt that to this day, has not been surpassed. The rappers today are ringtone rappers. Here one minute..
