It can hold up to 6gb......I just bought a 4gb stick myself because my stock 2gb was very, very sluggish because I like to have a lot of applications open and run windows via parallels.
Though I must say I just upgraded to an intel ssd, and the performance boost was amazing! I don't get the beach ball anymore and that is still with my 2gb of RAM....I should be getting my 4gb stick later next week, cannot wait!
How has the performance been for you? And great video!
@snakedoc1306 it runs alot faster now especially when running many programs at once. i do see a great improvement on the windows 7 partition gaming wise. you wont be dissapointed.
@thomasmovesinc the macbook has two slots, put a 4GB stick on one slot and on the other the factory 1GB stick (in my case). its 4GB+1GB, now i have 6GB (4GB+2GB). the recomended max RAM for a late 08 macbook. go to OWCmacsales and there you can find out how mucho more RAM can you add to your Mac
