Our Fathers were at work, launching the mighty Saturn Five that would rock our house and send that gleaming white skyscraper slowly climbing above our homes towards the ocean, and always up, in gradually increasing speed. Most of us knew the astronauts. A bunch of wives would come to our house to watch the launch, we had the best view, and later the footsteps. Anything was possible back then, but Socialism killed the dream
