  • Fantastic!

  • @Machster10 skagit casting is a variation of spey casting. there are multiple types of spey casts all which their main purpose being to be able to get a good distance cast with a minimal backcast whereas it is underneath the rod instead of behind it

  • FYI: That's not spey casting, it's Skagit casting.

  • I like this video because it represents most steelhead fly fishing - beautiful scenery, focus on the runs, many casts, then one magnificent wild steelie. The End.

  • what state is that?

  • would you say that spey rod fly fishing with heavier tackle is harder than typical fly fishing with a 5wt. or so?

  • @budgetbassboy Depends on the person...if your someone who picks stuff like this up quick it wont be that difficult. Its all about breaking down the cast into parts.

  • Beautiful river, beautiful video, it's a bloody shame that this professional guide drug that native fish up on the rocks though.

  • all of that funky casting for one fish.

  • @dandotreillydot42058

    One amazingly beautiful fish.

  • I love these videos. What kind of camera did you use? And which frame-rate? I'm assuming it was filmed in 60p and slowed down to 24p?

  • Beautiful, and elegant, spey casting.

Beautiful rainbow, and, of course, beautiful fishing

    person.
