Hi, just a question, how much did it cost you to install all those LED's and how difficult was it? It's awesome looking and would love to do it to my vue. I have an 07 saturn vue. It's only a 4 cylinder so I thought that since it's not fast might as well make it look cool. haha.
@DudeNiceVCR I don't remember it ever being droney, but as long as you keep the center resonator you won't have to worry about it at all. Taking out the resonator adds a bit of "rasp" to the exhaust note, makes it sound really mean. I got pulled over for it once though, so it's definitely not within legal limits.
No chips or programmers are available unfortunately. One tuner almost pursued it but then backed out. Sucks because it probably is very capable of 140mph.
@D86shanks Okay prove it. Redlines have bigger wheels and a heavier body kit than the stock vue. They have the same exact powertrain as a regular V6 vue. I repeat: the redline has NO more horsepower than a stock V6 vue. It is JUST an appearance package with 1" lower springs. Why are you trying to prove me wrong? I've owned 2 Vues.
All vues are limited electronically to 100mph. they are both the same speed. and the wheels add all of 20 extra lbs and the body kit doesnt make a big difference
max speed is 100mph, 0-60 in 6.9 (awd), regular gas, plastic panels everywhere expect rear and front dash. They put a stupid chrome design in the back which makes it rust over the back door handle because of a chemical reaction between chrome and steel. Some vues have a flaw with the honda trans, the torque converter breaks because of badly programmed software. That's not the case with my vue it works great, it's a 2006 at 110 000km with no problems so far
it doesn't rust that much I can barely see it after 5 years or so, if your buying a 04-05 they didn't use the chrome in the back so no problem, also 06-07 redline models didn't use the chrome part either
Technically yes, but no. "L" allows you to hit 6500rpm in 2nd gear ONLY. 1st gear will shift at 6000rpm (undefeatable) and 3rd gear will hit 100mph before the redline (~5500rpm).
oh my god dude. best thing to do with low. since it keeps it in gear with the current one your at, you can start off in drive, accelerate a little, put it in low, floor it, put it in drive so its the next gear when its time and just repeat the process. I did that; I swear 45-80 in like 2.5 seconds, but please be careful, cuz right after I did that I got pulled over(I was passing someone so it wasnt a huge deal). haha
It accelerated as long as the gear your in isnt topped out to full rpm's. Low won't shift for you because it was made to keep high rpms with high torque to get you up hills n stuff. it works in every gear so you have to shift back to drive for a minute then shift it back into low to get the acceleration "boost" as I like to call it. lol
Holy shit. I own 2005 Vue Redline, and no, the honda motor has not always come with it. They stopped it in 2007. I too love picking on ricers with it. It is so fun to drive. I don't consider it fast by any means, but it is quick for what it is. But I have to know, where or how did you get the blue gauges. Mine is blue, and that would coordinate very well. Please let me know !!
Not even worth commenting-think what you will-my motor says made in Cleveland by Ford-door jamb made in USA by Ford-I dont care about which is faster-and I guarantee I get 30 mpg on the highway-Honda just got dinged for that motor not getting what it has stated in mpg-check it out-on the net lmao...Not dinging your purchase-but it is what it is! By the way both my in laws are retired GM and Dad works at Ford...so no bias on that pick apart something else ..lmao..we have a Chevy too..lmao
He likes beating "Ricers"-well guy I hate to disappoint you about your wifes Vue! The motor in it is a total Honda 3.5 V6-check it out...GM and Honda have been putting that motor in exclusively the VUE since its inception! Honda traded that motor for the GM Nav System...the automakers barter system. Thats why we bought a Mazda Tribute S -made by Ford..plus gets better mpg than a Vue V6-still has 200hp! Good luck on the ricers...
hey zoom zoom boy hes aware of the honda and we are all proud of ur purchase so lets race now or just see whos engine outlasts the other so the awd,v6 vue gets 19/25 mpg urs gets 17 / 22 for the awd 6 lol do ur research before u bitch about stuff haha nice vid how u get the blue backlighting thats so sik ill bring that up on saturnfans
First I do not have an AWD-I have a front wheel drive-and I average 27- to 30 mpg on the highway at 70 mph-we got the vehicle specifically for commuting-it depends on how you drive-if you will get good mpg-Secondly, who is bitching....-I made a friendly observation-wow all kinds hide behind a computer! I am quoting..."I love beating up on rioers with it"....You do your research-he knew that it was made by "honda"-you probably did not even know my Mazda was made by Ford!
1st-I knew the Vue had the Honda 3.5L V6-that's one of the reasons I bought it. 2nd-That motor hasn't been in the Vue 'since its inception.' It was only available from 2004-2007. The 1st year, Saturn used the British-made 3.0L. 3rd-Just because a car/engine is made by Honda, doesn't make it rice.

I just inherited an 06 and DAMN what a sleeper, I had no idea these Vues were so beastly
I surprise the ricers all day long in it or at least the ones who don't about Vues

@FutureMarine246 It was a muffler intended for the Camaro. 1 Inlet, 2 outlet.
@DudeNiceVCR No, the first muffler (resonator) was removed, only leaving the magnaflow at the back.
@DiogoDC123 Based on what? I'm putting down pretty much exactly the same amount of power.

@burnout8488 sorry MY equinox will own it :) vue is nice the the equinox looks a hell of alot better not to mention interior is nicer

@burnout8488 I'm looking at buying this muffler, how was the sound at lower RPM's? My current muffler has bad drone at 2100rpm.

Can you buy a chip to defeat the governor? I expect mine would top out at 140 mph or so.

burnouts a faag you probasbly dont even have a car bud and these redlines are fast its a mid vtec engine j35a
D86shanks 1 year ago
@D86shanks What'd you call me? My Vue wasn't a redline, all V6 vues from 04 on had this engine. Redlines were slightly slower due to added weight.
burnout8488 1 year ago
Is this the J35A V6-equipped Vue?
Ryoukun16 2 years ago
well it does 50-100 in 6s so it's probably a 4cyl
tph420 2 years ago
It's stated it's a V6 dude.
Ryoukun16 2 years ago
Oh right ! so yeah it's a J35A3 V6 then all vues between 2004-2007 have the honda engine
tph420 2 years ago
So it combines a reliable engine into a bland SUV? I'm listening.

jdeluca92 2 years ago
I own the 2004 AWD v6 which uses hondas 250 hp 3.5 litre, I believe mine cuts out at 110, a shame because it has alot of pull around 100 still
