Jim Mallon has lost his mind! And what's up with Chaplin? He was a writer on the show for years. Why would he think Crow muttering about a Kayak for 2 minutes is funny? Why would he think crow predictably getting knocked off a boat was funny? Hasn't he seen enough bad movies by now to know when something is lame? I'm just gonna assume every failed joke in the show was written by him.

I knew this was a bad idea. Look - MST3K ended with Mike and the 'bots crashing on earth and getting a place together. I don't know what the hell is going on here, but it's not MST3K, and I don't like it.

I can't believe they are ruining the legacy of this show by trying to milk what they can out of it. None of the shows best writers are on board, there's no Mike, no movies, no puppets, the animation sucks and it's not funny. This is the last I'm watching of these.

It grows on me the more i see it. Much like some of the Sci-Fi era host segments that i thought were mediocre the first time but are classics now. Except the one in Future War where Tom got "new legs", ending with Gypsy kicking him with her weird Foot. That one doesnt make me cringe really but i'm still like "That was ODD to say the least."

I know what you mean about the expectations. Not anyone here but in general MSTiedom, I've seen people even comment on what they'll riff on and everything. I just see this an added bonus to a new online info club store.

Also, Paul is the writer and Crow! (can we say Alternate Reality Sci-F- era Crow?) Even if it ends up being hit or miss i'm sure there will be plenty of laughs to be had. He's written some of the funniest moments on the show so we shall see. :)

I have to be honest, I love mst3k, but this..this is a disappointment. Besides writing, the animation itself is pretty lacking. Maybe they'll get better with time, but I wont hold my breath.
