When i gave him the answer, he looked dumbfounded, it was priceless

@littlewingdkuribo1 he probably did it w/some dignity and actually tried solving the riddle under his own brain power, as opposed to what you almost certainly did in knowing the answer before you even offered up the riddle. A teacher having a degree in one subject doesn't mean they know everything, I agree. Our teachers are just people, not machines and not perfect, and you'll find out just how meaningless making an algebra teacher look dumbfounded is someday..I can only hope.
