the tank one was screwed up though, cause the cop shot him point blank in the face after the tank was immobilized. i mean, i dont really sympathize with the criminal, but the chase was over, the tank was high centered on the divider, and the guy basically had nowhere to go.

the justification was that the tank could have still been armed with live rounds, so they had to put him down.
