@xtremeassassin1 I tried both, but personally, I like the Fender better. I ended up purchasing th eFender. That Marshall is pretty good too, and they're both better than the Line 6 in the same price range. But you won't be dissappointed with the Fender
@paulgaudinjrBCN I use it for my band and we are progressive metal, I've used it in bars, its decent enough, good for starting off, but I'd save up for an orange if I was you,
i've had this amp for 7 months, i wouldn't suggest getting it, save and extra $100 and get the superchamp xd, all tube sounds sooo much better than this amp
You know, if you're going to demo the sound of the models then LEAVE OFF THE FX!! FX are generic, they're toys, and who uses them today anyways? It's the AMP we want to hear.
@MrBlablayaya sure, why not I have the Mustang I (exactly the same) and it's nice, I have lot's of big amps, and I was tired ofcaring those 100w Marshalls and shit, so I decided to get a small one for when I go to visit someone, it has all in it man.
@Macsk8ing the mustang I isn't accually the same. it has a smaller speaker so a sharper sound. also the 20W hasn't quit enough power if you want to play in a band. so I bought the mustan II
@surferkeeuh Well in terms of speakers, the Mustang I and II are two totally different things, but what I ment was that they have the same settings and basically the same but in smaller size. For playing in bands I preffer to have Marshalls, I bought the Mustang I to practice at home and to travel.
@surferkeeuh to play live in a band this kind of amp is crap. play only with tube amps like Bassman, Blues de ville or hot rod amp or Twin amp. This one is ok to play at home nothing more.
hi guys ... can u help me bout' something? i'm stuck between two amps.. The Fender Mustang II and Roland Cube 30? I play usually Iron Maiden and more crunchy stuff. but no new metal.. the old 80's... which do you recommend?
"This effect can be found in bank D, effect 2 of the modulation effect section...Simply rotate the mod knob, while pressing the exit button at the same time." Really? Come on. Why not just put a display on this thing?
i have a Epiphone Les Paul and a Digitech 355rp, would it be worth it to buy this amp? right now i have a Line 6 Spider 4 15w and im looking for a bit of an upgrade
just from the review it sounds amazing, but would any of you all recommend it?
I have the M1 model- it's absolutely fantastic at the price. I haven't touched my Laney VC15 since it arrived. Best modelling amp I've ever tried by far.
I would hesitate if you don't have a computer to allow patch editting with the Fender FUSE software, but if you do I would recommend this above any other home amp
Great amp!!!Something I need to ask before buing it...can the tap button be used as the delay and tremolo tempo???I mean by pressing it faster o slower does the effect change???
@akiskotsaftis Not in front of it right now, but almost positive you can, Buy it anyways, for the price, you cant beat it. $99.00-and mine came w/ the optional footswitch, which only lets you change between two presets, but software is worth $, Amplitude LE rocks, and I have Guitar Rig 4 Pro.
Great demo! Thanks for doing that. I bought my son the Mustang I for Christmas and played his mini Squier through it and was blown away by the sounds I was getting from a kids guitar and a DSP amp. The Amp settings on it are really well done and have a strong resemblance to the amps that they are modeling.
@stevoe1000 I have a telecaster American made....I can get nice sounds from headphones, really nice ones and if I use the line out to my little 15 watt SS amp....but out of the mustang it hasn't sounded good at all yet....

Anybody else hate horrible guitar riffs to demo amps?
Mabtheist 3 months ago 25
@Mabtheist most i hate when they pulloff those generic mainstream bluegrass shit riffs :D like damn youve heard the same in 6 other demos :D
rrgert4 2 months ago
@rrgert4 Agreed. And if anything, it makes the amp sound like shit. So demos like that are entirely useless.
Mabtheist 2 months ago
@Mabtheist yeah they should improvise and vary, if not ,then pulloff some never heard shit.. it doesnt do the amp justice if not :P
rrgert4 2 months ago
@rrgert4 It's the British. They realise that they can't be Clapton, so they don't try to be.
Sad, really.
