  • Wow is that an HHR? Looks awful like one...

  • Heinricy is a great driver.

    Chevy can do it right.

They make great cars, and cheap cars. They do not make crap.

Their econo line of cars is good daily transport for folks that can only afford a low price car.

Any one that expects a Porsche for the price of a econo box is a fool.

    GO CHEVY!

  • So he got a record in this HHR too? That makes it four for four now right? GM is breaking records with every segment! Great work!!!

  • LULZ

  • fanboi lolol

  • Its JSpencer

  • Did the roof fly off?

  • What do you mean? The roof didn't fly off, does it look like it did?

  • He's saying like it happened with the Corvette Z06s, because Chevrolets are shit and can't even use proper glue to attach the roofs.

  • what a joke

  • What's the joke?

  • Got it. Sorry you feel that way about Chevrolets.

  • aw hell no, I did not just hear you say that about Chevy.

  • It's losers like this that have driven the US economy into the toilet. It's unpatriotic to buy a foreign car. Don't stand at the ballpark with your hand over your heart, when you've got a Toyota in the parking lot. Anyway, America makes the best cars. The Nurburgring is in the German's backyard yet America has all the meaningful records: Fastest production car: Corvette ZR1. Fastest production sedan: Cadillac CTS-V. Fastest front wheel drive: Cobalt SS. Fastest Sedan/Wagon: HHR SS

  • For those of you who guessed it, you're right! It's the new Chevy HHR SS!

  • Oh look. Another democrat bashing an American product.

    So much nationalism.

  • Lap record? Maybe for slowest lap ever.

  • Well you know the Jap car lover^^ gotta say something! I guess they hate the fact that a car was made that you don't have to swapp everything in it from the engine to the tires, like Honda's/Acura's. The funny part about it is that those import pos's are still slow as balls

  • I've never owned a Japanese car. I have an old German made Porsche, which is actually quite slow, and an Ultima GTR with a supercharged Chevy smallblock, which ain't slow.

But I see no reason to buy an American POS car.

  • What was the lap time?

  • The record lap time was 8:43.52 minutes for its class, besting the previous record of 8:54.38 held by the Opel Zafira OPC.

  • Man, that little wagon can really hustle.

  • That's the HHR SS that will be available late this year. :)

  • BTW, it's a 2.0L turbochaged ECOTEC and the Cobalt SS moves to this setup as well for 2008.

  • Nice!!! Chevy HHR own's the 'ring!!!
