As an ordinary lay person I would incline d to feel sorry for what had happened to Ven Dhammavuddho, but as Buddha have always shown us,making a good judgement, we can apply the the 8 Perfection to what had happened and the the actions to be taken following that. The continious talk on the matter coupled with the critisism of the Mahayana Faith is really no good at all..
I don't think that there is much reason to worry over these videos. If we understand the law, we should know that if this monk really had an unskillful intention with this speech, then his act most likely ripened in some uneasiness in his heart. We should also know that however we react, we inevitably reinforce our underlying tendency to that kind of reaction. :-)
Regarding the publication itself: dhammatube offers many videos from many monks; many of them just a single opinion or experience.
i m sorry to hear this but it seems that this rage against Mahayana was bcos of one controversial Master? Then I should be angrier when fellow Buddhist brethren told me to renounce the Triple Gem and to return back to church when my dad evicted me for being Buddhist. My Refuge? Dharma,Dharma,Dharma! My agnostic fren rescued me and even became a Buddhist bcos of my firmness for the Triple Gem! Today my parents accepted my decision.Cant imagine if i followed Mara's advice then!
Ven Dhammavuddho had a very bad experience, i can still feel some resentment or rather anger in him at the time of giving this talk. I hope he will attain nibbana in this lifetime.

That's not exactly a fair comment. This is a personal story and regardless of interpretation, these events did happen in Ven. Dhammavuddho's life.
