  • That was really enjoyable.....except the garage setting was a bit dreary! LOL!

  • You would think so right? Its still an awesome place to live. If you come back soon, bring the fiddle and let me know

  • @JaredHelser231 i sure will ! i do plan on comin back....just not sure when

  • Im from gettysburg PA. you would think there would be something here but its dry as a bone as far a fiddle music goes.

  • @JaredHelser231 oh wow, i love gettysburg !! ive been there like....9 times literally. but yea id assume fiddle / old time music was all over there

  • Im familiar with that old time D tuning i just havent figured out all the notes i can get at and i dont know anyone else who plays out this way to learn from. Thanks for responding and sharing your knowledge with me. i look forward to hearing some more tunes from you.

  • @JaredHelser231 cool....I just gotta find the right camera angle to set up and make sure its clear haha....I'll get it done soon.....where are you from ? you said "out this way"

  • I have sat for many long hows trying to work out the finer tunes in this song. Please do a little instruction on the licks you use. I would greatly appreciate it. Killer version of this tune by the way. My favorite on here for sure.

  • @JaredHelser231 hey Jared I'll work on that !! Its an easy one.....you gotta tune ur G string to A.....but yea i'll try to do a slow up close version so you can see how Im doin it...i'll do it as soon as possible !

  • Very good!

  • What a talent. Thank you for this!

  • @JaydeSabbath thank you !

  • WOW! I truly respect your talent. The last time I heard such beautiful songs was from singing along with other truckers like me who camped for the night. I can almost smell the bonfire and hear the hissing of the Coleman lantern when I hear this song. Hell, I should go back to long distance truck driving again. Yep, soon.

  • @Rachen30 thanks !! yes this would be great around a campfire haha

  • Nice job!! love that tune, How is your fiddle tuned?

  • @MrWeluvit thanks a lot !! fiddle is tuned with G string up to A

  • You sure got a natural talent for the old time tunes! And i must say im very jelous. You will have no problem getting your timing down the more you progress. Thank you for sharing your music! More people need to hear, and understand this type of music! Its a huge part of our american history!

  • Keep it up! your on the right track!

  • @groverwaugie thank you !!! appreciate it a bunch

  • Nicely done! Great song.

  • You did a great job with this song! Double stops sound awesome... how long have you been playing?

  • thanks auntimuffin, appreciate it ! that was put on 11 months ago, so at that time prolly had been playin about 2 years or so.....the only issue im having is timing ! like...if you set a metronome to that video, or any other video of mine.....it doesnt keep a steady beat......thats where i have the problem...but thanks for the compliment !

  • Great stuff man!
