Davesnot Here - My thoughts on Marijuana in America. The so-called "war on drugs" is an absolute failure; Americans must demand the immediate reallocation of funds away from the unconstitutional persecution and harassment of marijuana smokers (American citizens) and a refocusing on the real drugs that are having a detrimental effect on society.

So I gotta say it, all thru highskoo' I would rock out stuff like this, never finding any 'bandmates' that would/could play with the likes. I found Kyuss after high school and Instantly Sky valley became one of my top five albums in constant rotation. I press play and jam with any of their CDs -never get bored- never uninspired- and never turn it down. My kind of music. .
even when sober, this sruff makes me feel like i just smoked 5grams of weed, sick stuff.. i love kyuss, every little thing, Josh's guitar, the fat bass, the slamming drums, the crashing cymbals, the sweet bass kicks..
Except these guys began years before korn and kicks a million times more fucking ass than korn ever will! Go listen to Kyuss' later abums and see if you still think of korn. If you do, go get your ears checked at the doctor's.
@Drunkenher0 Hehe lol, I can't remember, it's been ages since I commented, I guess someone might have pissed me of by comparing the greatest band ever , Kyuss of course, with krappy korn plus I was probably just being drunk back then and throwing a random fit at some poor teen korn douche:-D
@dickpennis isn't it? back in 2004 when i was that age all the 17/18 year olds from my town were making derivative shite and some of them still are and actually have a record deal. so sad.
not making any comparisons, but nirvana used it too...you can def hear it in 'breed' and possibly some other of their songs...i didn't know just how much you can manipulate that effect; it's really cool, isn't it
This is actually tied for my favorite song on the album, with the first. (The Beginning of What is About to Happen) Hwy 74. These two tracks (on a first fucking album) are better than some whole careers I swear to fucking god.

Yeah, it's heavy. I love the massiveness of that track, has a very strong and raw feel to it while being musically still smart and non-repetetive.
I'd love to hear this pumpin' out a decent sound system.
Kudos Kyuss
