People fussing about keely vs maddie, I haven't watched the winner yet, but from my past experiences with competing (started solos age 7, competed till I was 18, now I choreograph) sometimes you need to look at the judges backround. I would win title or over all at a comp with a lyrical solo with a bunch of company dancer judges, but then not place in the top 10th with stage show judges...or a bunch of classical judges favor the ONE pointe dancer...just saying that judges sometimes favor a style

I love watching this and comparing it to the version on the show, it's so much better seeing the whole thing.

This was my favorite solo of Maddie's cause she got to act too. And she really told the story and conveyed the idea of the abused child.. I just love watching her dance and I never get bored of it.
