I think Piemont is a place in Italy, often reference in early french lute and guitar music of this "Piemontoise". (very uncommon rythm for this gaillarde... I don't know why ?)

Hi Val, that is a nice and freely interpreted galliard. Do you know what Piemontoise is exactly? We find this title also in a Louis Couperin pièce.
