@Jzmt77 I'm commenting about the level of musicianship.IQ is not the 1970's Yes,ELP or Genesis "Classic Prog" but what many are calling "Neo-prog" a new interpretation of prog of the 70's. As for Dream Theatre, many are calling them "Metal prog".As a keyboard player myself,I hear too many guitar riffs and noodling going on for my own taste.I would like to hear more of Jordan Rudess as he is a fantastic keyboard player with chops up there with the best of them.
i was at the iq concert at rüsselsheim, germany it was the greatest concert that i have seen. mike holmes is the best guitar player in the world!!!!!

Love IQ, great band. Should be a lot bigger than they are, clearly better than a lot of other big bands around today.

I agree-I have to put them in the same class
as ELP,Yes,Genesis. They are carrying the torch now. Alot of the big bands claming to be prog rock are not really progressive at all.
Dream Theater comes to mind-great band-not prog IMHO.

@intoprogrock Interesting comment, IQ doesn't sound any more prog than DT does.
