  • Test drove one of these last year. Was quite surprised at how powerful the V6 felt, and the car felt solid and had good steering. Unfortunately, interior styling was outdated as well as the engine, which didn't get class competitive fuel economy (based on what I read) and was louder at full throttle than I would've preferred. They improved the 2010 models quite nicely, however, so they seem near the top of their class.

  • Yea Ford did really well wit this car. They should offer the Mustang in AWD too!

  • @trainlinezoo Mustang has been RWD for over 40 yrs so I seriously doubt that they would offer AWD for on it

  • @Intechdude300 I know it - It's a shame too. They would open up a massive market and pass the option cost onto the buyer. What's a drive shaft and rear differential cost at the production level? $3000 more? I've always wanted a Stang but I also know how fast the weather changes and as good as a RWD car can possibly get, there's still no comparison with having all the wheels pulling together. They should offer it as an option.

  • @Intechdude300 2014 the all new mustang with have AWD as an option.

  • @SteelCity1981 IDK about that but IRS is the most sure possibility along with the Ecoboost 2.0L being the new base engine offering for those who want an even more fuel efficient stang

  • @Intechdude300 i was reading that on car and drivers website. I'd imagine GT's and Covra's would get the AWD option. The new mustang will also get rear independent and finally ditch the live axle in 2015.

  • @trainlinezoo I agree

  • I lied, he has this car, but the Premier edition. That means, leather seats, wood inlay, and a rear spoiler. EVEN BETTER.

  • My dad has around 120,000 miles on his (this exact car). All I can say is... it looks and drives great. The rear looks fantastic, especially with the dual exhaust. I will be getting it i about a year, IM HAPPY WITH THAT.

  • Nice all around, good sound, interior, engine...

  • your just bashing all the cars man. ford or not. not a good thing to do if someone is lookin for a car to buy. all cars have plastic. the 09 lexus we had has plastic in it too.

  • @northsiderollers

Hell this is a decent car & you didn't here me really bash it much at all. I said interior quality was of decent quality overall. I consider myself being quite mild here and pointed out many pros of this car. Heck, I dont mind owning a V6 version myself

  • @Intechdude300 no i mean any other other car too. like the 94 F-150. Lincoln navigator

  • @northsiderollers

I'm obviously a Ford guy but I don't wanna seem biased which many think. I will admit when an interior is of junky quality even if its from my favorite brand. Its also not a good thing to be appreciative of everything 1 lays their hands on. My tone is overall different with most cars. Heck u even say my become hardass with a Bentley Continental LOL

  • @Intechdude300 look ill be honest. i dont like the point our of the cars have plastic weather its " good plastic" or "plastic shit" cuz i heard both. all cars have it no matter the brand. some less than others but it costs a lot. ppl these days dont have alot of money with the economy the way it is. hell the 07 F-150. both lincolns and the caddy we have. all have plastic. doesnt really bother me b/c im not playing with it wen im driving

  • @northsiderollers

My point is some automakers do it in such a low rent form that they even make plastics themselves feel cheaper & brittle, like how Hyundai, General Motors, & chrysler have done in past yrs but all are improving on it.

Plastics are OK but at least make it of good quality & durable. Like this Milan, the biggest POS was the holder for the sunglasses. Had they of thicken its construction overall, it could've been more sturdy & likely I wouldn't of said anything

  • @Intechdude300 had 08 fusion 2.3. never had a problem. til it was totaled. 25K miles wen it was ended in april 09. didnt complain. never saw one problem. my Lincoln LS doesnt even have a sunglasses compartment so i cant really complain about it. this car has one. sweet. They all do it. all have plastic. to make it weigh less anf for MPG

  • @northsiderollers

U seem to be missing my point tho. Say in my Continental. It has 1 & its made of plastic. At least Ford had the decency to coat it with a rubbery finish on the surface so it doesn't feel low rent, & its overall made stronger. Not saying plastic is bad but when an automaker wants to use it, at least make it well & not make it feel like a Lego.

  • @Intechdude300 ok besides the plastic thing. i think you are bashing cars alot.

  • @northsiderollers

I would just by lying if I dont point out the deficiencies & just appreciate whatever is thrown at me. Alot of those things are done cause of greed, profits, or just pure laziness for not doing a better design of something. Its only now that some automakers are realizing that people want quality even on the inside. If people just pat automakers on the back a job well done for building a shitbox, then automakers will build more shitboxes. Thats how it was b4 the 90's mostly

  • @Intechdude300 GM has had poor quality for years (we're talking 30+), and plastic was their staple since the early 1970s when they had cheap plastic door panels on Oldsmobile and Buicks. In fact GM's Cadillac division had a lower grade seat material than the Olds 98 or Buick Electra for several years... Another case in point, ALL GM cars had "foam" seats from 71-79 - and the foam completely deteriorated in less than 3 years on most cars...

  • Starting up it sounds like the 2010 MDX

  • R.I.P Mercury

  • the one thing I just hate about the interior of these older generation fords is the ugly, bland radio head unit design :)

  • Nice, low mileage!

  • Looks like a Cobalt on the inside.

  • @noriceformeplz

Yeah but the Cobalt has nothing soft to the touch except for the seats lol.

  • @Intechdude300 Looks like a Fusion inside...except without that cheap ass new Ford buzzer

  • I love the Mercury Milan, best looking of the Fusion/Milan/MKZ trio...although the 2010-2011 models have an ugly nose, then it's the Fusion that's best looking...glad my brother is getting mine when I get the 2012 Focus so I can still have it around, I love that car :)

  • @mercmilan06

I've been curious about that, when will u be getting the Focus cause its been a while when u made an update about it. I was at the NY autoshow on Saturday & checked out the Focus for the 1st time. Absolutely blows away the The Cruze interior & it accommodated all 6, 1" of me perfectly.

  • @Intechdude300 They built my car last Monday and I test drove an SE sedan last time I was at the Ford dealer (Thursday before that) and I was really impressed with the car (never checked out the Cruze because they should OLD PERSON almost as loud as a Camry or a Buick)....so it'll be probably 2 more weeks before I get the thing, can't wait!

  • @mercmilan06 **shout, not "should"

  • I got to drive the 4-cyl Ford Fusion a few years back as a rental. I was very impressed with the car. I didn't want to give it back. It's also good to know that these cars (Fusion/Milan/MKZ) got high marks in terms of build quality.

  • What do puddle lamps do?

  • @SubieSean

Say at night when you open the door. With a light there you can see the floor. Or just simple enjoy seeing the ground on both sides of the car light up at night when you approach the car.

  • These are nice little sedans.

  • Just another Fusion

  • I don't understand the point of analog clocks in cars. Seems like a pretty good car, from the video.

  • @SubieSean

Digital is easier to read. But I Analog was always considered to be a classier thing. Just like Watches.
