Paladino was interviewed on WIZR (Johnstown) and asked about this. He claimed that he gave money to Schumer because he brought low-cost airlines to upstate NY, but that he got disgusted with him over health care.
Nonsense. Schumer announced his public option plan on 6/25/2009. Paladino gave him $1000 on 6/30/2009, five days later.

And why would the RLC support a guy like Paladino? He's not a liberty candidate. He's another politician who will tell you what you want to hear.

But Rick Lazio facilitated the federal government's donation of $25 billion to JP Morgan. Paladino has no inside connections of that kind.
