lego is running out of ideas so they just recreate old models...like the tractor with trailer...and now there are so many different buggys and karts

Hmm still no wiser on the excavator,

same as at London, box featured bent beam model has straight, but in Germany or was it Canada the box and the model had a straight beam. The bent beam seems the better design but none of the models have had it. Still a case of who knows?

you are absolutely right, the real excavator does not have the angled liftarm like the picture on the box...

Anyone else seeing a difference of the box and the giant excavator itself ?

The box has a piece with an angle in it, while the model itself has a straigt beam. Right above the bucket. :P
