Get 6 months of food storage and water. Buy a gun and store medicine. Because one day u may not be able to go buy it from the store. People have cars and they have car insurance. Get 6 months of food storage and water. Buy a gun and store medicine. Because one day u may not be able to go buy it from the store. People have cars and they have car insurance. If you got a house u most likely have house insurance. Same thing for storing food, except it's insurance on going hungry. Look if nothing happens good. At least you will have all that food to eat anyways. If something does happen well you will be prepared. You see either way you still win.! It's a win win situation!

@liderlider I have really begun to feel that the dollar has been pegged to oil, and now with Russia and China making this deal, and not trading them in dollars, that is what will be the major downfall of the dollar. Since they've used the dollar to bail all the companies out, there's just too much of them out there. That would push the price of oil up for everybody. Now they aren't gonna use the dollar anymore making it worthless, and us Americans left out in the cold.

Right, they are hedging. When the demand for gold gets high enough, the elite will cash in (brokers, banks), then it will crash. Besides, where the hell are you going to cash in gold? Its ok for trading but what gas station or food store do you know uses gold?

Take a look at history. When this happens there won't be stores accepting money period. It will all go to the government. They will ration things out and u may purchase with their "mark" but the gold and silver is mostly to pay taxes on ur assets/property and bartering. I'm sure there will be groups/gatherings of people in central areas where they are all trying to buy or sell something that is where u take ur gold. Just my vision of the future.
