Thats what YOU think. It's better than that Cadillac he's got, if you look at his flywheel video he quotes "cant wait to get rid of this thing". Yea it really a ricer to churping 3rd gear in a FWD V6 family sedan, something a Cadillac wont do, stupid cuntface
Mabey not 3rd but it will 2nd, and it only takes a few bolt ons for it to chirp 3rd.
And its rice that more people love than a Cadillac..only grannys and drug dealers drives Cadillacs, real people buy Mercede's, Infiniti, Lexus, not a cheap ass plastic made Cadillac that will fall a part in a few years and have a resale value of a same year Honda Civic..Yea i know what your think, Cadillac is JUNK lol
buddy stop talking shit about a car you clearly no nothing about!!....these cars have 255 horspower stock and with the 6 speed transmission they can run 14s stock....so how the hell is that slow??
You're on crack to think a Maxima with an air intake and exhaust is automatically going to run 13's.
Keep in mind I'm the one running 2 CTS's and a Chrysler 300. Show the domestics the respect they deserve and remember you're the one rolling JAp SCrap
last i heard foreign cars last longer then american!! and why would you be so proud to own a gm......they took our money for a bail out and gave there employes bonus's with it then they claimed backrupcy....its more like goverment motors they shoud be giving us free cars because of what they did
Better to preserve the domestics at the price it costs us now than to let them die. Believe me, once GM and Ford go for good Toyota won't care about advertising where they build their cars or put their factories. Believe it. Like I said, you don't want to get into this argument.
haha a 3.5 chrysler 300...there slow as balls...you obviosly know nothing about maximas ether....mabe you should take a look on maxima,org and look at the times people run with very few mods...and im talking about the 6 speed maxima's not the auto ones....the 6 speed are a lot faster than the autos
haha vq crap??? you need to do some research bud...the vq engines can take a beating and are a lot more reliable than a than a chrysler 3.5 liter... and as for a srt 8 those things are bad ass of coarse it would win the hemi or srt-8 would be the only 300c i would buy.
My 3.5 is better built and engineered than the VQ35. 6 bolt mains (cross bolted for extra strength), forged crank, forged connecting rods. It also has a structural beam which connects all those main bearing caps for better rigidity. It also separates the crank from the oil pan.
The VQ35DE only has 4 bolt mains, and it does not have that structural beam which connects them and reinforces the crank even more.
I've done my research....how about you go do yours.
nissan uses the 3.5 in almost all its cars from the maxima to the 350z even the g35 and they make about 300 horspower out of them...the 2010 maxima 3.5 has 290 horsepower the 2010 300c 3.5 has 250 horsepower and these engines have been on the wards 10 best engines list for a number of years and have been really realible and the chrysler 3.5 hasnt made it on there once....so your the one that needs to do the reasearch bud!!
Also maybe you should know that Chrysler's 3.5 v6 was the most powerful naturally aspirated V6 engine in the world when released in 1998 for the 1999 300m & LHS. At that time Nissan didn't even break the 200hp mark.
chrysler debuted the 3.5 in 1993 and it was the most powerfull natrually aspirated engine in any chrysler built sedan......lol where do you get your info from??
Also, no shit, you really think a close ratio 6 speed is faster than a 4 speed or 5 speed? Who the hell woulda thought. If you want to compare AT's then even my v6 300 would roast a Maxima.
i was saying that because you seem to think maximas are slow as hell when in fact the only really slow maximas are autos and there really not that bad....i was just stating a point that the 6 speed ones are a night a day difference that the auto no need to make it a big deal lol
really where did you come up with that bull shit about chrsler's 3.5 being the most powerfull NA v6 in the world when it came out??? good thing you deleted your comments cause that really made you look like a idiot
"The new, all-aluminum, 3.2-liter V-6 produces more horsepower than the current cast iron, 3.5-liter engine. It will power the Intrepid ES and Concorde LXi. A new, all-aluminum, high output 3.5-liter V-6 will produce the most horsepower of any naturally aspirated V-6 on the market today (1998)."
allpar website, I sent you the URL in private message.
The aluminum version of Chrysler's v6 for '98 includes 6 bolt mains, structural beam connecting the connecting rods, forged crank/connecting rods....list goes on.
For comparisons sake, the VQ35DE only has 4 bolt mains. It took another redesign, the VQ35HR for Nissan to incorporate the "girdle" into their engine design, connecting the main bearings for greater rigidity.
Chrysler did in the 90's what Nissan brags about doing in 2005+. Ridiculous.
in the 90's when chrylser had the 3.5 nissan was using the 3.0 vq30de which was a rock solid engine and was very reliable and was also on the ward's 10 best engines list from 1995 to 2001 and then nissan switched to the 3.5 which was on the list from 2002 to 2007
Ya, thanks, I already know that. Thanks for those tidbits of information.
Tell me when I said the Chrysler v6 was more powerful than a VQ35. I said it was the most powerful naturally aspirated V6 at its time of release, but at NO TIME WHATSOEVER did I state that it generated more horsepower than a VQ35DE.
Link sent dumbass. Chrysler squeezed 300hp out of their engine without having to rev it over 6800rpm. No internals were changed. Increased horsepower was due to better breathing from an upgraded exhaust and intake manifold.
yeah without reving over 6800 cause it cant!!.. an engine that revs higher without sacrificing reliabilty to me is the better engine!!....my point is you seem to think chrysler's 3.5 is a better overall engine than nissan's 3.5... you called it a bad engine and even said that "maxima are slow" when in fact you where wrong!!
No. The fact that Chrysler was able to get 300hp out of the engine without raising the revs substantially shows the potential of the engine itself. Nissan might make similar power, but I'd rather have an engine that makes power at a lower RPM. (Take a look at the torque #'s of the Chrysler engine - the engineers clearly put the power where it's needed most.)
I said Maxima's were slow, yes, I already admitted that, but you're also the idiot who accused me of calling the engine slow.
I DIDN'T CALL NISSAN'S 3.5 A BAD ENGINE, I CALLED IT OVERRATED.
DON'T PULL WORDS OUT OF MY MOUTH.
And Goober, thanks for pointing out the obvious. Of course I think the Chrysler engine is better, why the hell else have I been arguing with you? You're stupid. I can't wait to see what else you have to say. You got chopped down so fast with logic and proof that all you can do now is start making shit up. Ridiculous.
im stupid??? here you are making assumptions that i drive a taurus because of my username..i drive a 2002 maxima 6 speed and btw you did say nissan maxima where slow when you where wrong about that!!....and i told you nissan's 3.5 was on the ward's test best engines list for multiple years!!! chrysler's 3.5 was never on the list!!! dont you think if it was better than nissans engine it would be on the list?? lol
What's the ward's test best engines list? Do you mean the Ward's 10 Best Engines list?
Hate to break it to you, but I'm not worried about what Ward's thinks about my engine, nor do I care that Nissan's engine is on there. I don't follow that Ward's propaganda. Would you care to elaborate on why Nissan's engine was booted off the list? I'll bet you don't know why, and neither do I. I don't know what their testing methods are, and I don't care.
Moreover, that "10 Best Engines" is one list by one publisher. What they say isn't absolute. It's the opinions of their testers.
A more acceptable argument would be that Ward's likes the Nissan engine more than the Chrysler engine, or at least they like the money Nissan pays them to like the VQ.
Is the VQ a bad engine because it got booted off the list? No.
I don't care. I proved my point here, you got bent over like a school girl, and now you're trying to make up for that in telling me that I'd lose to you in a race. Well, good job, considering that I'm never going to race you I don't care.
What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Is there a problem with me driving a V6 Chrysler 300? You can drive a Maxima with a v6 and there's some sort of a problem with me driving a v6 Chrysler 300?
Like I said previously, you've been cut down by knowledge and logic and you have nothing to say so now you're trying to belittle me because I drive a car that's also available with a v8....ridiculous.
You're the one in the Maxima, not me. Have fun with your JAP SCRAP
the problem is that there is a available v8 engine and you got the v6!! its like buying a v6 mustang when you could have got the v8....if a my maxima came with a optional v8 than i would have gotten that but it only comes with the 3.5 so to make up for that i got the 6 speed one
jap scrap??? i havent had one problem with my car neither does anyone i know that drives so called "jap scap"... i know plenty of people who drive american cars and they have problems up the ass.......and the last i heard foreign cars a rated better for reliability than american!! so really explain to me how its crap cause i would love to know lol
really what have you proved?? you come on this video calling this car "rice" and "slow" when in fact its neither of the two... you where looking for a argument by saying that shit..so really its not a waste of your time because you asked for it!!....and you think your chrysler 3.5 liter is better than nissans when in fact its not!!
nissan gets great ratings for there vq35 engine...i never here anything about chryslers 3.5 engine so how can it be as great as you say it is? lol
Like I said, you have your opinion, I have mine, you won't ever change mine, I have the facts and the build information, you have nothing but a Wards propaganda list. I've made my point, you had nothing meaningful to refute my information with, so I'm happy.
If you're really still asking how great my engine is, read everything over again, and this time read for understanding. Thanks.
what ever dude...just look at a 2010 maxima v6 vs a 2010 300c v6...the maxima puts the 300c to shame in every way possible..more horsepower and better styling..paddle shifters its just a more sporty car all around
There's no such thing as a 300c v6. In v6 form it's called the 300. 40 more hp, negligible difference in torque, paddle shifters for a CVT....pointless. More sporty? In what way? Torque steer + CVT + FWD is not a sporty car at all.
Also take a look at the features...no comparison.
Anyways, now that you're done getting reamed from the engine argument I can see you're trying to deviate to gain some credibility. Not gonna happen.
maxima have always been known as a 4 door sports car..its even advertized as that in the commercal...whats the point of your rear wheel drive 300c when all you would be seing is the maxima tailights.. if you want a sporty 300c then buy a v8 one until then maxima will contunue to shit all over your slow v6 300c
Apparently you don't understand the model naming of a 300c, so I'll just say this once:
A Chrysler 300c IS FASTER THAN A NISSAN MAXIMA. NO QUESTION.
Let me know when a stock Maxima can hit 5.3 0-60 and 13.9 in the quarter mile. When it attains those numbers you'll gain some credibility. Otherwise, fuck off.
no shit buddy i realize that a v8 300c is faster than a maxima but lets not forget this argument is about how the v6 300 cant compete with a maxima
so until you own a v8 300c you will continue to get beat by maximas...so kep talking shit about maxima when at the end off the day all you will be seeing is the taillights!!!!
i dont need to gain any credibilty..the facts about nissans vq engines are there and well known.......vq engines are well known/reconized for there durabilty and performance...chryslers 3.5 liter is not awarded or even as well reconized as nissan's 3.5
Just because you are ignorant of Chrysler's powertrains does not make them any worse than Nissan's. Just saying.
By the way if you knew anything you'd know a CVT is more responsive and efficient operating as it is intended rather than by emulating or simulating shift points. If CVT's were more efficent in simulating the shifting of a conventional automatic then they would be made to shift like a normal automatic. Dumbass.
btw how are paddle shifters pointless in a cvt? they allow the car to actually have shift points rather than having it at max rpm while under full throttle so to me thats not poinless...it actually makes the car sporty
If you want to get bashed even more I can send you my PDF SAE white paper outlining the development of the Chrysler 3.5 v6.
I paid for it too. Your better god damn well understand that I know Chryslers engine far better than you do, and understand that all of the comments I have made thus far are true. (and proven by the links I sent you).
so im and idiot??? your the one calling nissans 3.5 liter slow..and not reliable..and saying that chryslers 3.5 is better and more powerfull.....when chryslers 3.5 was never recognized or was never on the wards 10 best engines list......nissans 3.5 was on the list for multiple years and nissan's 3.5 can make up to 300 horspower NA at 7200 rpm......try that with your chrysler 3.5 lol
I didn't call the Nissan engine slow, idiot, I called the car itself slow, and since you couldn't recognize that, I'ma have to call you slow too.
I also didn't say anything about the Chrysler engine being more powerful.
The thing is, you can't deny anything I've said so far (you probably don't even know what the internals of an engine look like). I don't care what awards Ward's has given out, and if it means so much, why did the VQ get booted off the list?
"In a classic hot-rodder move, So-Cal's 300M received a 3.5-liter SOHC Prowler engine that had been tweaked by Chrysler engineers. Though the internals weren't changed, the Prowler mill received a new intake manifold, throttle body, and Borla cat-back exhaust system. Both the stock 300M engine and the stock Prowler engine are rated at 253 peak horsepower, but Chrysler estimates the mods made to the So-Cal 300M engine boost it to around 300 horsepower."
dude sounds sikk a little 2 much backfire but still good love that chirp goin to third and guys its nissan u know how reliable and good their motors are made a little exhaust mods arent gonna fuck ure motor
u need to work on ur clutch engagements if thats the case, stock clutches in these cars tend to last way past 200k, mine currently has 228k on a factory original clutch and thats with a few people learning how to drive an MT on it.
thats what im saying even if, im pretty hard on mine aswell, these things shouldnt go soo fast, its primarily getting the thing moving from a stand still if u are consistently over 1500rpm problem found
revving is not bad for your motor at all. As long as your oil is properly lubricating the engine and it's up to temperature, there is no real damage done.
i think im fuking in love dude what is it in that motor thats whoppen ass .....plz my friend u gota tell me

jap scrap??? i havent had one problem with my car neither does anyone i know that drives so called "jap scap"... i know plenty of people who drive american cars and they have problems up the ass.......and the last i heard foreign cars a rated better for reliability than american!! so really explain to me how its crap cause i would love to know lol
andytaurus 2 years ago
How it's crap?
It's a general term....I'm making fun of your car....I don't feel like justifying my comments to you as I have now realized it's a waste of my time.
Blocked, and continue to enjoy your JAP SCRAP
th3ha1og0d 2 years ago
@th3ha1og0d
really what have you proved?? you come on this video calling this car "rice" and "slow" when in fact its neither of the two... you where looking for a argument by saying that shit..so really its not a waste of your time because you asked for it!!....and you think your chrysler 3.5 liter is better than nissans when in fact its not!!
nissan gets great ratings for there vq35 engine...i never here anything about chryslers 3.5 engine so how can it be as great as you say it is? lol
andytaurus 2 years ago
@andytaurus
Thanks.
th3ha1og0d 2 years ago
what ever dude...just look at a 2010 maxima v6 vs a 2010 300c v6...the maxima puts the 300c to shame in every way possible..more horsepower and better styling..paddle shifters its just a more sporty car all around
andytaurus 2 years ago
@andytaurus
Not gonna happen.
th3ha1og0d 2 years ago
maxima have always been known as a 4 door sports car..its even advertized as that in the commercal...whats the point of your rear wheel drive 300c when all you would be seing is the maxima tailights.. if you want a sporty 300c then buy a v8 one until then maxima will contunue to shit all over your slow v6 300c
andytaurus 2 years ago
@andytaurus
Otherwise, fuck off.
th3ha1og0d 2 years ago
no shit buddy i realize that a v8 300c is faster than a maxima but lets not forget this argument is about how the v6 300 cant compete with a maxima
so until you own a v8 300c you will continue to get beat by maximas...so kep talking shit about maxima when at the end off the day all you will be seeing is the taillights!!!!
andytaurus 2 years ago
@andytaurus
I will speak with ye later. Ye fucking slut.
th3ha1og0d 2 years ago
@th3ha1og0d LMAO. I raced a 300c hemi with a rented 06 max, AUTO, I had the 300c up until 70. 0-60 in 5.3/ ? LMAO. No fucken way retard!

@tastings4life
This is you vs Car and Driver.
Nice pipedream though.
th3ha1og0d 1 year ago
i dont need to gain any credibilty..the facts about nissans vq engines are there and well known.......vq engines are well known/reconized for there durabilty and performance...chryslers 3.5 liter is not awarded or even as well reconized as nissan's 3.5
andytaurus 2 years ago
@andytaurus
Dumbass.
th3ha1og0d 2 years ago
btw how are paddle shifters pointless in a cvt? they allow the car to actually have shift points rather than having it at max rpm while under full throttle so to me thats not poinless...it actually makes the car sporty
andytaurus 2 years ago
@andytaurus
Idiot.
th3ha1og0d 2 years ago
so im and idiot??? your the one calling nissans 3.5 liter slow..and not reliable..and saying that chryslers 3.5 is better and more powerfull.....when chryslers 3.5 was never recognized or was never on the wards 10 best engines list......nissans 3.5 was on the list for multiple years and nissan's 3.5 can make up to 300 horspower NA at 7200 rpm......try that with your chrysler 3.5 lol
andytaurus 2 years ago
I didn't call the Nissan engine slow, idiot, I called the car itself slow, and since you couldn't recognize that, I'ma have to call you slow too.
I also didn't say anything about the Chrysler engine being more powerful.
The thing is, you can't deny anything I've said so far (you probably don't even know what the internals of an engine look like). I don't care what awards Ward's has given out, and if it means so much, why did the VQ get booted off the list?
Also, you might want to know that
th3ha1og0d 2 years ago
"In a classic hot-rodder move, So-Cal's 300M received a 3.5-liter SOHC Prowler engine that had been tweaked by Chrysler engineers. Though the internals weren't changed, the Prowler mill received a new intake manifold, throttle body, and Borla cat-back exhaust system. Both the stock 300M engine and the stock Prowler engine are rated at 253 peak horsepower, but Chrysler estimates the mods made to the So-Cal 300M engine boost it to around 300 horsepower."

streetstunter3 2 years ago
what kind of clutch do you have in that
nah4getit 2 years ago
Stock clutch, i do go though them about every 15k tho
maxspeed96ct 2 years ago
u need to work on ur clutch engagements if thats the case, stock clutches in these cars tend to last way past 200k, mine currently has 228k on a factory original clutch and thats with a few people learning how to drive an MT on it.
Crusher103 2 years ago
I drive this thing like i stole it, i also slip the clutch a bit bettween gears cause its much easier on the trans.
and the flame poping was cause the car ran rich , after a tune it was back to normal.
maxspeed96ct 2 years ago
thats what im saying even if, im pretty hard on mine aswell, these things shouldnt go soo fast, its primarily getting the thing moving from a stand still if u are consistently over 1500rpm problem found
Crusher103 2 years ago
Its not gonna blow up if u dont have cats it is gonna shoot flames its gas blowing up since its not properly filtered threw the cat
transamws62 3 years ago
... do you not realize how bad that is for your engine?
300zx1985 3 years ago
nnaaa nissan motors love that shit!!
maxspeed96ct 3 years ago
revving is not bad for your motor at all. As long as your oil is properly lubricating the engine and it's up to temperature, there is no real damage done.
