Use to Augsburg College which is less than a 10 walk from The Wienery. Absolutely love this place. Still have to say they make the best french fries I've ever had in my life which a lot of people never talk about. After going there for a while, the only thing I get is the Italian Combo which to me tastes like heaven. Every time I'm in the neighborhood this is where I go. Long live the Wienery.

I was just there the other day and had the best breakfast of my life. Awesome.

I didn't mind the decor. Sure the furniture was a wreck, but everything was clean. I actually thought that it added to the charm of the place. With that in mind though, it looks like they did a lot of cleaning up for this video.

i was just there today.. its a dump. wrecked chair, it smells really bad and all the drinks are flat. my brother wanted root bear sna he got clear carbonated water. the hot dog weren't amazing but good 4 your first chicago dog

This place is AWESOME! Great food, but my favorite part of this place was not captured in this video. It's definately a "dive", but that's what gives The Weinery it's charm. Most of the time it's packed full and you have to slide over the last person's plates, cups, and trash to have a place to sit. They hand you a cup to get your own soda- no ice. If they are swamped you have to order multiple dogs at once or they won't get back around to your second dog. It's a one man circus! You must go!

This does not capture the spirit of that place at all. For one, it looked waaaaaay too clean. Also, where were his drunk homeless friends wandering behind the counter? The conspiracy theory pamphlets? The fries you order by the number of potatoes?
