  • Yup both songs are inspired by the Irish song... but that song is not the Rabin Adair..The song is.."Go where glory waits thee"....Tegore use this melody in his many songs..

    1. Ohe doya moy

    2. Aji e Basante

3 Mane ma manali(in Kaal Mrigoya)

The ..melody of."Robin Adair".. has been uses in the song "Sakali Fularo Swapano Prai"

  • Both 'Ohe dayamoy' & 'Aha Aaji e bashante' sung very well & pictured at a time in Ganer Opare..... booth these were composed by Tagore when he was inspired by the Irish song "Robin Adair".....

  • Amazing.

  • Thank you so much bengalivideo for this post. Several magnificent pieces of art come together here. First, it is Tagore with his 2 lovely compositions, next is the tremendous singing by the playback singers, then we have an amazing orchestration doing full justice to the theme of both the songs, then of course superb acting on screen by Dipankar De and the young talented female artist and finally hats off to the makers of this serial - who conceived the great idea to use these 2 songs together.

  • criusly....
