Matty is right. I was stationed on Van in 2001 and that is not normal. I didn't surf then (damn it). The truth is that Vanuatu ie. Pango point on the island of Efate, delivers rarely. You'd need to live there. I bet that the island of Tanna has something but it's not "just waiting to be found". There's not much there. I speak the language and I'd be back in a heartbeat. Peace.
