@Rysmugen Simple. Prodigy were right before Arctic Monkeys on saturday at Reading. The Prodigy drew one of the biggest crowds the festival have ever seen. The energy level was huge. Arctic monkeys was a massive comedown.

alex turned into such a typical rockstar...and u can't say its not true..he thinks hes too cool to be happy on stage..he changed from jumpers to leather jackets and let his hair grow out...not only his image but his music changed its more emo..im not saying its emo but u get that sad feeling...hes depressing now..they used to make feel good music..idk what happend

It seems they're ashamed of when they were younger, like they seemed dorky or something because they don't do a lot of their old songs anymore and the only one they do (flourescent adolescent) they changed it. its not really the music its how they themselves have changed. what they don't get is that they got famous because of the music they used to do and we all liked them that way.

@bobngo10 They play quite a few of their 'old' songs. They do about nine in total from their previous two albums and even reworked some a little to fit the sound more.

Sorry, I'm really biased, but I don't think 'Humbug' compares to the previous two albums. They were brilliant, but 'Humbug' is sheer genius on a lyrical and musical level. It's just great and live it even comes across better. The band have evolved and I'm glad they have.

@BonJ2211 yea i'm pretty biased too. i think its a good album too like i said if i heard their album and i didn't know it was the arctic monkeys i would still think their good. its just different and not their style. i just don't want them to stay this way. they got famous because of their first album and that's what we like about them, that's why their successful, that's why they headlined glasto with only 2 albums because of that kind of music they made.also, alex turned into a rockstar douche

@bobngo10 their style is entirely up to them. why should they always stay the same, because of fans like you? if you were a star, would you dress and write music like your fans want you to? music is a form of art in which you express yourself in that given moment. you couldn't possibly write the same music when you're a teenager striving to prove yourself and when you're a serious grown up musician. humbug is brilliant, and i hope they'll continue doing what they like, not what fans ask them to.
