Does anybody own the Logitech flight system G940? If yes can it be recommened more than saitek, cause i was gonna get saitek but then heard that it breaks easily, an d my friends saitek yoke throttle, etc broke, is the logitech any good?
@rogerdodgeraviation saitek is terrible. I had the aviator, it didnt work right about a week after i bought it.. The x-52 is the worst. Malfunctioned the day i bought it. Decided not to buy saitek again. The only way id get something is the throttle they have. It'd be nice for a GA sim. Spend some more on the Ch Eclipse, you'll be happy with it. 2 of my favorite parts are the backlit buttons for night simming, and the hat switch is on the left, which is the main airline flying hand
@rogerdodgeraviation the CH yoke is junk compared to Saitek's. I've had mine for almost two years and it still works perfectly. I also bought their rudder peddles and I am going to buy their headset for multi player flying. Everything comes with a two year limited warranty. If you want a good yoke that will last you a long time, spend a little more money, and go Saitek!
@zmansporscheboxster the real answer isn't so much the particular software, but it's making sure you don't develop bad habits. For example, some new students have the bad habit of staring at the instruments and not looking outside enough because that's how they fly their sim.
@zmansporscheboxster - not much to say about any sim- none of them are completely realistic. The only realism you'll get is from buying payware planes for the simulator

@rogerdodgeraviation I greatly prefer the saitek yoke to the CH.

I got the CH Eclipse yoke not much after it came out. the Eclipse has better feel, darker finish, and colored knobs as well. Better springs also

Excellent video. Do you know of a good flight simulator for someone who is interested in taking flight lessons in the future.

@zmansporscheboxster You might try taking a couple of real world lessons, then start practicing those fundamentals skils in FSX.
