  • Just got back from school on the KC80. Awsome machine! Already have one customer who has one. 3 weeks, already has 42,000 feet, 2nd PM on it! Easy to work on, easy to maintain, and the KIP 7.0 software is fantastic!

  • The KC80 is far too touchy. There are MANY issues KIP is still working on. For the price, it's not worth it.

  • All the new generation of KIP has been stable and reliable; specially the KIP software. The new color 80 is expensive but it has a wide spectrum of potential customers. One color 80 replacing 3 or 4 inj jets will worth the money in terms of productivity, speed, space saving, consumables and down time.

  • Time will tell. KIP-3000 has proven to be a very tight and reliable box compared to some of the lemons they have marketed in the past.

I heard pricing is over $180k which is too much. I can buy 4 HP T-1100 Designjets for about $25k and have the same speed and vastly better print quality with barely no service or down-time. (and still have $155k in the bank!).

I guess time will tell. Congradulations to KIP for being a leader in wide-format LED colour machines.

  • Simply amazing. I'm almost speechless. Although it's just video the color quality looks really good. Hopefully it's 8-bit. I hope KIP is prepared for the onslaught of orders they're going to get for this machine. Awesome.
