First off, I really, really LOVE the atmosphere you captured here! Awesome! I wanna go backcountry too, but first I feel like getting some (extended) avalanche training so I can stay safe..

That blue tube coming from your left shoulder, is that a Camelback tube? Or something like a breathing tube for when you get trapped in an avalanche?

@vinnnniey, its a great idea to get some formal avalanche training before heading into the backcountry. The blue tube is called an Avalung made by Black Diamond Equipment. It allows you the chance to breath under the snow if you are caught in an avalanche. Just another tool to give you a little piece of mind in the backcountry. Nothing however can replace knowledge as being the most important tool for backcountry travel.
