Ratings are low so they come out, tell a random bloke that they will give him say, $25,000 (if that) to keep his mouth shut, they tell Anh Do which cases to leave till last to make it seem exciting, and also give him a cut for his time. Low and behold, the following week ratings are through the roof and all their money is made back with a massive profit to go with it. Welcome to the glittering world of television people.

All of a sudden an 18 year old girl wins a million with the easiest set of questions imaginable. When she got to serious money they ran out of time, then advertised the situation for a week straight and the following week got the biggest ratings ever. Apparently she got like 20 grand for her troubles.

I hate it how Andrew all ways focuses on the negatives. "Oh what if you lose the $75000" or "You are risking $45000". It make it seem like he is telling them deal or no deal.
Channel 7 didn't let that puppy go, no way. Of course they televised the whole " Let's surprise you at your front door" bit. Ahn dropped the cheque off, while Andrew boomed at them (Daniel was with his girlfriend) from behind the camera somehow.
I went to a conference with Work, in alice springs, which Ahn attended.
He presented his speech abuot his life and his family. And its amazing to see that, an amazing person like Ahn went through really tough times, and came out on top..

I really liked the idea of the show. But the problem of the show is that the Host just says stuff for like 2 hours. It could be like a 10 minute show. Is it relevant to say, "You look like a boxer"... I would reply with Shut up, I'm a comedian.
Well, the problem is that this show doesn't give the opportunity for the contestants to show off their knowledge. It's not the players that are dumb - it is the format!
The girls are not actually sexy models - they are in fact other contestants. There are 25 contestants on the podium who each get a turn to guess what they have inside their case. If they guess correctly, they win $500 (it used to be $1000). Sometimes, the banker offers a "megaguess" which is worth either $2,000 $5,000 or $10,000!

Well, the problem is that this show doesn't give the opportunity for the contestants to show off their knowledge. It's not the players that are dumb - it is the format!

The girls are not actually sexy models - they are in fact other contestants. There are 25 contestants on the podium who each get a turn to guess what they have inside their case. If they guess correctly, they win $500 (it used to be $1000). Sometimes, the banker offers a "megaguess" which is worth either $2,000 $5,000 or $10,000!
