I'm in the army myself and yet i still cry my heart out for all these men and women that have given their lifes. Sons, Daughters, wifes, Husbands, sisters, brothers, fathers and mothers. I do remember the dead that i once knew,the dead on both sides of the war the young brave men who screamed and died in agony,the true horror of war the stupidity of war and the inner unrest i feel 27 years later.

Referring to UK/US soldiers...

When he gets to heaven, to St Peter he will say, "one more soldier reporting sir, i have served my time in hell".

And similar factors are causing our troops to suffer, a Taliban soldier can walk up to our troops, with an AK-47, saying in plain English "i wish you were dead" and our soldiers cannot do anything about it unless he physically says he is a Taliban, or shoots at them 1st...it is RIDICULOUS!

Around 95% of those deaths from IED's

Around 99% of those deaths due to soldiers following the Rules of Engagement.

They are supposed to protect our soldiers, but instead, it is following them that is killing them, if i saw somebody who was obviously a Taliban, and was mocking me, i wouldn't think twice about the RoE, i would shoot his raghead head.

This makes me sick knowing Political Correctness

Thanks for your comment. I used to be a Warrant Officer in the ATC and during the 17 years of service I met a lot of guys and girls in the forces and to me they are all heroes. The first tune is Abide with Me, The second is Auld lang syne and all the music is performed by the Scots Dragoon Guards.
