  • I'm from SEE-YAN Francisco KAAH-lifornia :)

  • You can always tell a Californian from others because we ( at least I do ) say hella, hecka, and dude A LOT.

  • @TeknikAlity34 Having been born & raised in LA, I cringe whenever I hear "hella." Just when I thought that it may very well be the WORST slang word of all time, you enlighten me with "hecka." It is simply a NorCal thing; more specifically just the Bay Area. You will never hear it in other parts of California, unless of course you come across a hipster doofus on vacation.

"Dude," on the other hand is fine. I suggest you stick with that one.

  • @CkH2704 My friends say, "hella good" and what was " hecka good huh! "xD Im know I am ashamed of them.. XD (Monterey bay) or "I know huh" xD

  • @TeknikAlity34 and don't forget 'like' lol or 'ya know' or 'man'

  • thumbs up if you paused the video to check your fb chat during the video.

  • I'm from the south bay but have lived in other parts of California and this video made me realize we definitely have a regional accent! We like to throw in "and yeah" and "and stuff" at the end of our sentences.

  • @poohxbear5 No that's just american.

  • shit... you sound like me.. im from the bay to. i guess we do have an accent

  • @Sam0raiX everyone has an accent its stupid to think you dont

  • @Chrisindapurplehouse yeah i met ppl with the texas and oklahoma accent thats hella strong and they dont think they have an accent haha

  • @Sam0raiX This is what I talk like and I'm from San Francisco . I tell my friends here in Idaho to never call it Frisco because it's hella an embarrassment . Because I talk different from native Idahoans , they look at me as if " What , I can't understand you , where you from ? "

  • So nice to hear the City in your voice, you sound just like me! (born and raised in the Bay Area). Love the backed [æ] and the slight creakiness at the ends of the intonational phrases. I miss SF!

  • You sound normal to me.
