Brower was a badass. Especially earlier in his career, feuding with Pedro Morales and others in the old WWWF. He wouldn't even get a tryout in today's WWE because he was under 6 ft tall, but he'd make a mess out of most of the guys on their roster. Dr. Beach was a career jobber who worked all up and down the eastern seaboard, primarily in WWWF and the old NWF in upstate NY, Ohio and western PA.

Brower had invaded the World Wide Wrestling Federation (now WWE) and was going after Backlunds title. They showed gruesome pictures of Brower in previous matches. I was just a young teen then and wasn't smart to the business. I remember being VERY concerned for Backlund because of what a terror Brower was.
this man bulldog brower was the one toughest in dishing out punishment ,very cunning and dangerous ,he was always switched on...not like todays pansy wrestling....look at all his matches on the tube and you decide...
no way! the IWF was the best wrestling ever with Ox Baker and Bulldog Brower. Dr.Beach and Tago were the best loser wrestlers I ever seen, except maybe Jeff Craney or Geroge Rosello. The all used to get the crap beat out of them in every match. that's when wrestling was cool, not the pansy parade it is now

The very first time I ever saw Dick "The Bulldog" Brower, he was a face (a good guy). Good to hear the voice of the late Jack Reynolds, too.
