That power supply looks awesome....must have it. It has a ton of outputs.
The MXR/CAE MC404 Wah not only looks cooler than any other wah....it sounds awesome. Two different Fasel inductors for varied tone filtering plus built in boost. All three effects can be tweaked by internal trimpots. Just got mine dialed in and it is gorgeous.....now I gotta get the power supply and MC401 Line Driver and I can focus on saving for the Strymon El Capistan (the coolest tape echo pedal ever). Damn GAS! Ugh.
@PRSguy94 would be awesome if someone new something about the cabels cause they would be perfect for my pedalboard, and i've seen other people using them so there got to be som way to get a hold on them,
@Tralasse Generally a good repair shop or music shop should be open to making custom cables for you. Just buy a nice cable and a bunch of ends and let them know how long you want them to be.
so, let me get this straight- you're ostensibly posting this because you assume people are interested in what bob has to say, right? maybe you'll want to turn down the f**king background music so we can hear him. bush league.
Then you dont understand the layout. The pedals are fit on the smallest area its not just jumbled into a space. The layout comes from the pedal looper.
I'm not a fan of sideways pedals. Call me old-fashioned, but I think pedals should face the way they're designed to face. The only thing I'm really interested in here is the power supply.
And who says "wah at the end of the chain"?!? This guy gets on my nerves on a regular basis. The host, I mean, tho' Bradshaw seems to agree there. But my thought is, the wah is typically used as a vocal effect, so it should be as early as possible to be the base of the guitar "voice" when needed.

who makes those patch cabels?
Tralasse 7 months ago
@Tralasse It looks like their "homemade". So he buys the cable in bulk and a whole bunch of end connectors and solders them together.

My signal chain is: Guitar-Wah-Tuner-Noise Suppresor-Phaser-Overdrive-Distortion-Amp-EQ-Flanger-Delay :)

@gibsongod15 i bet if you put the noise supressor after distortion youll cut back alot of noise.
yutuubfreak 1 year ago
@yutuubfreak but then when you turn off the distortion then your clean signal gets cut off short and there is no sustain. D:
gibsongod15 1 year ago
@gibsongod15 ahh i never thought of that. really good point
