However I feel that at Man Utd the club is just too big for him he can't perform. he shows no controlled aggression no passion and his passing has been way off the mark. I truly hope that he improves as he has a contact extension. As for Fletcher the guy gets worse in every game. How can Fergie expect to challenge Barca and Real for european titles with him in the team it's beyond a joke now I hate the site of Fletcher.

@fightman121 I agree entirely about Carrick, the club and the expectations are too big. He played better when we had Tevez and Ronaldo in the team as well - such an impressive attacking force took the pressure off him. But Fletcher... Fergie sees him as a second Gary Neville. Not the most gifted footballer, but works incredibly hard and listens to everything he is told. And that attitude has always been valued at United. Defensively he's great, he still needs to improve on the ball though ^^

Too many bad passes and not being able to cross the ball. I know Utd can do better than this guy. We all have different opinions about players and I respect yours.
